Cisc shall prvide the fllwing General Supprt prvisins fr all Services selected by Custmer under the Cisc Optimizatin Service fr NFV: General Supprt Designate an engineer ( NFV Netwrk Cnsulting Engineer ) t act as the primary interface with the Cisc prject manager appinted fr the Custmer. Participate in regular meetings with the Custmer as required by the Cisc prject manager either via phne r in-persn t review practive deliverables, activities and t plan fr next quarter. In-persn visits nt t exceed eight (8) days in aggregate. Additinal visits will be mutually agreed at Cisc s then-current travel and labr rates. Designate additinal engineer(s) t wrk with the Cisc prject management and the primary NFV Slutin Integratin Architect. Mnitr a Custmer-specific Cisc alias t facilitate cmmunicatin with primary NFV Slutin Integratin Architect as well as the engineers n the Cisc s NFV team. Engineer may utilize Custmer prvided data, scripts r internal tls t assist in cllecting data frm the Custmer peratins envirnment. NFV Operatins Transfrmatin Operatins Strategy A review f current peratins prcesses t prvide recmmendatins t ptimize peratin f Cisc technlgy (netwrk, strage and cmpute) t maximize IT Service availability. Kick ff meeting t review service deliverable and methdlgy with key Custmer stakehlders. Schedule and cnduct nsite interviews. Review and analyze Custmer prvided dcumentatin. Presentatin and review describing findings, tgether with recmmendatins fr changes t peratins prcesses that will ptimize the peratin f Cisc technlgy t maximize IT service availability. Management Slutin Architecture Review current tlset t prvide recmmendatins t ptimize visibility and cntrl f a virtualized data center envirnment. Takes a hlistic view acrss all management tls used acrss the data center architecture. Areas f fcus may include Event, Incident, Prblem, Knwledge, Service Asset & Cnfiguratin, Change, IT Service Catalg, Perfrmance and Capacity Management, Autmatin / Orchestratin and Billing & Chargeback. Create a hlistic view f the current IT services management tlset, and peratinal requirements. Analyze existing tlset s capability t meet peratinal requirements. Enablement supprt fr Operatins Management These services prvides remte and nsite technical assistance t aid a Custmer with nging supprt fr peratins management prcesses and prcedures, including: Define peratinal functin(s) and technlgy(ies) fr which run-bk(s) r standard perating prcedure(s) will be prduced. Staff augmentatin nsite and remte (via Cisc WebEx) Review with Custmer any findings r recmmendatins gathered r discvered during the supprt perid. Cisc will prvide technical advice and guidance t the Custmer regarding peratinal aspects f their Cisc NFV slutin. NFV Adptin On-site supprt Prvide supprt t assist Custmer with general advice and guidance n Cisc recmmendatins arund NFV slutin. Designate an engineer ( NFV Netwrk Cnsulting Engineer ) t act as the primary interface with Custmer fr its NFV slutin. This engineer wuld be available fr five (5) days per week (pending lcal wrk restrictins) during Nrmal Business Hurs excluding Cisc hlidays, lcally recgnized cuntry hlidays, vacatin, and training days. Participate in regular visits t the Custmer either via phne, r in-persn t review practive deliverables and activities and t plan fr next quarter. Prviding design assistance in aligning NFV design with deplyment architecture evlutin. Design interlck sessins with Cisc engineering experts. Supprt (advice nly) fr n-barding Virtual Netwrk Functins (VNFs) nt NFV platfrm On-barding refers t the activities necessary t validate the Custmer-selected VNF with respect t Cisc NFV slutin cmpatibility, investigate functinal behavir and ptential risks, assess implicatin f the VNF n the Cisc VNF slutin, and t understand perfrmance and scale characteristics f the VNF. The activities and deliverables fr VNF On-barding supprt are the fllwing: Analyze the specificatin dcuments related t the selected VNF and advise n ptential issues in prvisining it n the NFV infrastructure. Review the Test plan fr VNF On-barding and prvide trubleshting supprt frm the NFV perspective. Cisc will pass n infrmatin n any defects identified t the Custmer. Review the design fr virtual netwrking envirnment that will be used t prvisin the VNF in prductin. Advise n VNF n-barding techniques supprted by the Cisc VNF slutin. Knwledge Transfer Peridic Knwledge Transfer sessins. Slutin Custmizatin (VMS nly) Nte that this activity nly applies t slutins that have been previusly custmized by Cisc Services in a SW-based Transactinal engagement fr example t enable changes t existing Service custmizatins and Custmer-specific Service packs. This Service des nt apply t the full develpment f new service packs. Cisc will cnsult with Custmer via a series f meetings t: Review Custmer s Cisc VMS custmizatin requirements, pririties and gals. Advise n feasibility f Cisc VMS custmizatin based upn their existing slutin custmizatins, tgether with the existing capabilities f the Cisc VMS SDK (Sftware Develpment Kit). Hld design interlck sessins with Cisc engineering experts. Engaging during design whitebards and wrkshps, and prviding VMS Custmizatin expertise. Perfrm updates t existing Cisc VMS slutin custmizatin where feasible in line with identified custmer requirements. Service Extensin Cnfiguratin - t VMS Service Packs Nte that this activity applies nly t changes made t existing Cisc VMS Service Packs (including fr example iwan, SD- WAN r CludVPN), which the Custmer has purchased, which have been deplyed previusly in a Cisc Services statement f wrk transactinal engagement. Cisc will cnsult with Custmer via a series f meetings t: Review Custmer s Cisc VMS Service extensin requirements, pririties and gals, based upn the existing Cisc VMS Service Packs deplyed in the Custmer s VMS slutin, and advise n feasibility and cmplexity levels f the identified extensins. Hld design interlck sessins with Cisc engineering experts. Engage with Custmer during design whitebard discussins and wrkshps, and prviding VMS Service Extensin expertise. Perfrm updates t the supprted Services within the existing Cisc VMS slutin where feasible in line with identified custmer requirements. NFV Health Check Sftware Release Recmmendatins Cisc will cnsult with Custmer via a series f meetings t develp an understanding f Custmer s Sftware management requirements and practices such as standards, migratin triggers, and implementatin methdlgies. The Sftware Recmmendatin Reprt NFV will cntain verall strategy recmmendatins and may include, amng ther infrmatin infrmal supprt fr incremental changes t device (specific t the Custmer s Cisc NFV slutin including fr example UCS, Nexus, OpenStack r Cisc VIM (Virtual Infrastructure Manager), r CEPH) cnfiguratin r architecture. Health Check Review current cnfiguratin f the Custmer s NFV slutin, as part f a peridic examinatin f pst deplyment, r audited, envirnments, that require additinal examinatin guided by Custmer needs and cncerns within a single NFV slutin envirnment. Peridic activities may include: Review and analysis f virtual machine, server, Netwrk and strage perfrmance and utilizatin including management switch, chassis and cabling cnfiguratins. Cllect netwrk switch and SDN cntrller, perfrmance data, identify exceptin areas, and analyze device cnfiguratins and resurce utilizatin parameters. Develp Stability Analysis and Recmmendatins reprt which typically includes summaries f the fllwing netwrk-level infrmatin: Sftware, Hardware, Memry, Envirnment, Prtcl Analysis and Netwrk Management. [Red Hat Linux Linux, r Cisc VIM (Virtual Infrastructure Manager)] Using Autmated tls cllect and analyze the utput t identify hardware degradatin, file system issues, memry leaks f all the Linux systems in the NFV POD. [OpenStack RedHat OpenStack r the Cisc Virtual Infrastructure Manager (VIM)] Run nndisruptive tests t validate OpenStack/VIM functinality; audit the usage f OpenStack/VIM Qutas; and analyze lgs t OpenStack lgs t identify issues. [Strage - CEPH] Analyze the capacity f the CEPH cluster, uneven data distributin, validate the health f all the OSDs/hard disks, netwrk latency. Develp reprt n the envirnment as evaluated against best practices and expected slutin respnse times, virtualized I/O, and prtcl ptimizatin. Cnfiguratin Best Practices and Security Alerts Review current cnfiguratin f the Cisc NFV slutin cmpnents and surrunding infrastructure. Cisc will examine this infrmatin t prvide recmmendatins based n leading practice cnfiguratin methdlgy and technical settings as apprpriate. Activities may include but are nt limited t: Review and analysis f virtual machine, server, Netwrk and strage perfrmance and utilizatin Investigate peak utilizatin trends and identify ptimal cnfiguratin and architecture t meet these threshlds Identify underutilized assets and recmmend ptimal layut fr highest cmpressin ratis fr virtual machines. Develp reprt n perfrmance ptimizatin. Recmmendatins such as system tuning, virtualized I/O, prtcl ptimizatin, and server respnse times. Review technical envirnment that may include: unified I/O, management switch, chassis and cabling. Cnfiguratins fr ptimum perfrmance. Practive Recmmendatin Implementatin These services will prvide advice, guidance and implementatin supprt t help the Custmer effect the recmmendatins made in the prir Cnfiguratin Best Practices and Security Alerts reprt. NFV Capacity and Perfrmance Management Cisc will examine the capacity and perfrmance aspects f the Custmer s installed NFV slutin and prvide: Review and analysis f current capacity and any assciated perfrmance implicatins. Prvide recmmendatins fr capacity planning. Supprt fr the additin, remval and replacement f cmpute ndes within the installed Cisc NFV slutin. NFV Security Review aspects f security surrunding the Cisc NFV slutin. Peridic activities perfrmed may include: S ecurity Health Check Review security aspects f the Custmers NFV slutin, including fr example: Develp security baseline based upn market best practices Perfrm risk assessment and categrisatin f the findings Perfrm peridic review f the segmentatin between the infrastructure and tenant space as well as between the tenants. Review new NFV slutin requirements and reprt n ptential security implicatins. Nte that this will be perfrmed nly fr Cisc-prvided cmpnents f the Cisc NFV slutin. Scheduled Change Supprt Prvide a Scheduled Change Supprt remte resurce fr critical scheduled changes. Cisc will make available, upn receipt f nt less than twenty-ne (21) days prir written request by Custmer t Cisc, a designated supprt cntact persn wh will be available t cnsult with Custmer in majr Cisc NFV slutin changes (i.e. majr Hardware upgrade(s), majr site installatin(s) r majr cnfiguratin changes). Custmer must submit a detailed request and schedule t Cisc prir t any such activity, which may include: Unscheduled Change Supprt Cllabratin with Custmer t evaluate the ptential impact f the prpsed changes. Review the implementatin prcedures. Remte assistance fr Custmer t help reslve prblem related specifically t the change being made. Assist with netwrk and NFV slutin changes during a majr change t the prductin slutin. Identify slutin dependencies and impact and recmmend risk mitigatin steps fr the migratin. Review Methds and Prcedure dcumentatin fr pre and pst cut-ver cnnectivity and testing. Review master cnfiguratin templates fr representative device r site types. Review slutin test prcedures fr the ready-fruse (RFU) slutin testing. Assist with migratin change windws The Migratin Planning Implementatin and Supprt shuld be delivered when the Custmer has designed and is ready t implement a new NFV slutin functinal package, and wuld like Cisc t cnsult n their existing migratin plan. Migratin Planning & Implementatin Supprt Prvide advice and guidance t supprt the Custmer with planning and subsequent implementatin f a sftware upgrade t the Cisc NFV slutin. VNF (Virtual Netwrk Functin) Test Strategy Review - Review with the Custmer their VNF Test Strategy Plan and prvide advice, guidance and recmmendatins n best practices fr Test Strategy fr Cisc NFV slutins. VNF Test Plan Develpment - Prvide advice and guidance t help the Custmer develp their VNF Test Plan fr their Cisc NFV slutin including creatin f apprpriate test cases. VNF Testing Supprt prvide advice, guidance and testing supprt t assist the Custmer in testing their chsen VNF n a Cisc NFV slutin. This includes investigatin f any deviatins frm expected testing results. Custmer Respnsibilities General Respnsibilities Designate at least tw (2) but nt mre than six (6) technical representatives in each area cvered under NFV, wh must be Custmer's emplyees in a centralized peratins supprt center (Custmer's technical assistance center), t act as the primary technical interface t the NFV Netwrk Cnsulting Engineer(s). Custmer will designate as cntacts senir engineers with the authrity t make any necessary changes t the NFV slutin cnfiguratin. One individual, wh is a senir member f management r technical staff, will be designated as Custmer s primary pint f cntact t manage the implementatin f services selected under this Service Descriptin (e.g., chair the weekly cnference calls, assist with priritizatin f prjects and activities). Ensure that facilities and equipment are available t hst the meetings and update sessins, as required. Ensure that relevant Custmer subject matter experts attend meetings and reviews as and when required by Cisc. Ensure key detailed design stakehlders and decisin-makers are available t participate during the curse f the service(s). Prvide reasnable remte electrnic access t Custmer's NFV slutin t allw the NFV Netwrk Cnsulting Engineer t prvide supprt frm utside f the Custmer s premises (usually frm Cisc premises).
