We shall: Presenting PTS work to ensure that everyone has access to good telephony, broadband and postal services work to achieve functioning competition in the market, resulting in a good range of options and low prices for consumers ensure that limited resources, such as frequencies and numbers, are assigned and managed efficiently ensure that networks and services are reliable and secure
The Section for Number and Addressering We work amongst other things with the following: Administration and development of the Swedish telephone numbering plan Allocation of telephone numbers and technical codes E-services related to number and addressing Emergency Call Supervision of the national Top Level Domain,.se Internet Governance Issues
One of PTS goals and work PTS strives for a global, open, secure and accessible Internet. We do this through several activites, i.e. through: 1. Promoting activities (fostering the deployment of IPv6 and DNSSEC - especially in the public sector) 2. Active in formulating Swedish standpoints regarding Internet Governance issues 3. international participation and through 4. regulation
Some background PTS started deploying IPv6 in 2009 external web site, DNS, were IPv6-enabled in 2011 PTS was assigned by the Swedish Government in to produce a Practical Guidance about deploying IPv6 in to carry out information campaigns and follow up the development of IPv6 in the Swedish public sector Participated in World IPv6 Day event held on 8 June 2011, and World IPv6 Launch on 6 June 2012
The Digital Agenda for Sweden All Swedish authorities and municipalitites should be reachable over IPv6 in 2013

The IPv6 Preparedness in Sweden Statistics from RIPE NCC s service IPv6 RIPEness - LIRs IPv6 Deployment in Sweden ISPs thank you for contributing!
Percentage of LIRs in a country with 4 stars Romania Germany Czech Republic Sweden Jersey Iceland The Netherlands Portugal Austria Moldova Norway Slovak Republic Bulgarien
Percentage of Networks (ASes) that announce IPv6 prefix - Some Countries in the RIPE Region
LIRs in Sweden with 5 stars
ISPs play an Important Role in offering IPv6 ISPs are important players for a global, open, secure and accessible Internet, and that continuously can grow with new users, devices and services In this regard, ISPs play a key role in offering IPv6 connectivity to customers (native IPv6 and dual stack) Many services and content providers already support IPv6 (Google, Facebook, etc.) as well as user equipment smart phones, laptops etc.
By offering IPv6, You ll have Business Advantages Ø IPv6 is no scarce resource, enables scalable networks and services, no need of NAT Ø IPv6, together with IPv4, makes you and your customers accessible to everyone on the Internet Ø IPv6 makes you attractive to customers in order to realise new businesses for instance within Internet of Things, and in mobile networks Ø IPv6 makes you globally competetive
Way Onward PTS will continue to follow Swedish authorities and ISPs deployment and offering of IPv6 in their services If necessary, we might take appropriate measures in order to foster the deployment and the offer of IPv6 to customers Lets get globally competitive and good luck with offering IPv6 now!
Thank You for Your Attention!
