13 Probe commands C The commands in this book are designed only for developers to debug software. crypto-engine accelerator disable Use crypto-engine accelerator disable to disable hardware crypto engines. Use undo crypto-engine accelerator disable to enable hardware crypto engines. crypto-engine accelerator disable undo crypto-engine accelerator disable Default Hardware crypto engines are enabled. Usage guidelines By default, hard ware crypto engines a re enabled. You can use the crypto-engine accelerator disable command to di sable them gl obally. However, disabling hardware crypto engines can degrade the encryption or decryption performance. As a be st practice, disa ble hardware crypto engines except for testing, debugging, or troubleshooting purposes. Enabling or disabling hardware crypto engines affects different service modules differently. For example, for IPsec se rvices, enabling or disabling hardware crypto engines affects only newly established IPsec SAs. The existing IPsec SAs still use the previously selected crypto engine for data encryption. As a best practice, use the reset ipsec sa command to delete all existing IPsec SAs before enabling or disabling hardware crypto engines. D debugging lipc Default Use debugging lipc to enable debugging for LIPC. Use undo debugging lipc to restore the default. debugging lipc { detail dump port lgmp mbuf mtcp pub stcp stream topo } [ lip lip ] undo debugging lipc { detail dump port lgmp mbuf mtcp pub stcp stream topo stream } [ lip lip ] Debugging is disabled for LIPC. 1

You do not need to specify this option. (In standalone mode.) lip lip: Specifies a remote node by its ID in the range of 0 to If you do not specify a remote node, this command enables LIPC debugging for the node where the master device resides. (In IRF mode.) debugging lipc mtcp Use debugging lipc mtcp to enable debugging for the LIPC MTCP module. Use undo debugging lipc mtcp to restore the default. debugging lipc mtcp [ group group-id ] [ lip lip ] undo debugging lipc mtcp [ group group-id ] [ lip lip ] Default Debugging is disabled for the LIPC MTCP module. group group-id: Specifies a multicast group by its group port in the range of 0 to If you do not specify a multicast group, the command enables LIPC MTCP debugging for all multicast groups. lip lip: Specifies a remote node by its ID in the range of 0 to The device has only one node 0. You do not need to specify this option. (In standalone mode.) lip lip: Specifies a remote node by its ID in the range of 0 to If you do not specify a remote node, this command enables LIPC MTCP debugging for the node where the master device resides. (In IRF mode.) 2

15 debugging lipc stcp Default Use debugging lipc stcp to enable debugging for the LIPC STCP module. Use undo debugging lipc stcp to restore the default. debugging lipc stcp [ port port1 [ port port2 ] ] [ lip lip ] undo debugging lipc stcp [ port port1 [ port port2 ] ] [ lip lip ] Debugging is disabled for the LIPC STCP module. port port1 [ port port2 ]: Specifies one or multiple LIPC connections. The port1 and port2 arguments represent the local port and the remote port of an LIPC connection, respectively. The value range for the two arguments is 0 to 65535, and the default is 0. lip lip: Specifies a remote node by its ID in the range of 0 to The device has only one node 0. You do not need to specify this option. (In standalone mode.) lip lip: Specifies a remote node by its ID in the range of 0 to If you do not specify a remote node, this command enables LIPC STCP debugging for the node where the master device resides. (In IRF mode.) debugging system internal adj4 Use debugging system internal adj4 to enable IPv4 adjacency table debugging. Use undo debugging system internal adj4 to disable IPv4 adjacency table debugging. debugging system internal adj4 { hardware bind notify entry } undo debugging system internal adj4 { hardware bind notify entry } Default IPv4 adjacency table debugging is disabled. hardware: Specifies hardware debugging for the IPv4 adjacency table. bind: Specifies VN/NHLFE binding debugging for the IPv4 adjacency table. notify: Specifies notification debugging for VN/NHLFE binding update in the IPv4 adjacency table. entry: Specifies entry debugging for the IPv4 adjacency table. 3

16 debugging system internal adj6 Use debugging system internal adj6 to enable IPv6 adjacency table debugging.
