1 ETM System v6.1 Minimum System & Network Requirements Software Minimum System Requirements* Complete Software. Includes the ETM Management Server and Report Server and ETM System Applications. Windows x86/x86-64 based server wi t h 2 GHz or higher processor clock speed. 1 GB RAM. 150 MB of available hard disk space for the ETM System software, additional space required to support temporary storage of scheduled reports or storage of saved reports. This does not include the space required to install Oracle. See their minimum requirements. 1 GB per digital span per year (365 days) of storage. JRE 1.6.0_12 (included in installation). or later Video capabilities supporting 800 x 600, 256- color display. Oracle RDBMS for the ETM Database, one of the following versions: Oracle 10g, Enterprise, Standard, or XE, version or later. Oracle 11g R2, Enterprise, Standard, or Personal Windows 2000 (Workstation, Server, Advanced Server, or Datacenter), 2003 Server, 2008 Server, Vista, or Windows 7, with latest service pack. TCP/IP network connectivity with a static IP address. (Full duplex recommended but not required when Call Recording application used.) Optional Adobe Acrobat Reader 5.0 or later for viewing and printing ETM System documentation (PDF) files or Usage Manager Reports saved in PDF format. Available from Solaris Sun Microsystems Ultra SPARC III, 1.0 GHz or above. 1 GB RAM. 150 megabytes (MB) of available hard disk space for the ETM System Software, additional space required to support temporary storage of scheduled reports or storage of saved reports. In particular, the ETM Server must be able to maintain the connection to the ETM Database or the ETM Server application will enter standby mode until the connection is restored. For information about data firewall traversal requirements, see the ETM System Installation Guide. ETM System Console Ethernet 10/100 shared with dynamic or static IP address. Appliances 8540 controller cards and SIP Appliances support Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000) All others: Ethernet 10/100 switched with static IP addresses. 5 Signal Strength Specifications * A signal weak enough to make the Appliance fail could not be produced in the SecureLogix test lab. This was the minimum signal level producible and therefore the minimum level at which the Appliance was tested. The following values for the telco connectors on the ETM Appliance* were measured in the SecureLogix Test Lab with an Acterna T-Berd 107A T-Carrier Analyzer in DSX MON mode (100Ω termination impedance) connected to the Monitor ports of a DSX patch panel.
