Subject: Web Technologies and Services (Công nghệ và dịch vụ Web) - Code: CT313H - Credits: 3 - Hours: 30 theory hours, practice hours, internship hours, 30 project hours, thesis hours, and self-study hours. 2. Prerequisites: CT214H - Web programming 4. Subject objectives: 4.1. Knowledge: 4.2. Skill: Knowing web application development technologies, standards and standard organizations (W3C, IETF) Knowing the concept and understanding the roles of Web Servers Understanding Web N-tier architecture and Web service Understanding security fundamentals in Web environment (firewalls, HTTPs, cookies, session, certificates) Understanding mobile web development Applying technologies (e.g., HTML5, CSS3, XML, JSON, JavaScript, Ajax and jquery) to develop Web applications Deploying web applications on a web server (Web Apache or IIS) Constructing distributed web applications Developing web applications for mobile devices Integrating web applications with services provided by the thirdparty logistics providers ( viz., Facebook, Google and Disqus) 4.3. 2 Have the ability to work in groups 5. Brief description of subject content: This subject provides web technology fundamentals, standards and standard organizations. The subject introduces distributed web architecture, N-tier architecture, web services and web security. The subject also introduces issues to develop mobile web applications and presents methods to integrate web applications with services provided by the third-parties such as Facebook, Google and Disqus. 6. For each project, students have to achieve the following requirements: - Using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (Ajax, jquery) - Publishing their website to Apache or IIS - Distributed web artchitecture - Integrating their web with services provided by the third-parties (Facebook, Google, Disqus...) - Supporting mobile devices - Ensuring web security Teaching method: - Instructor: gives presentations and communicates with students - Students: read lectures at home, communicate with others in class and study in groups 8. Duties of student: Students have to do the following duties: - Attending the theory classes. - Adoption of theory to practical problems in the lab. - Self-studying. 9.
