1 Page 1 of 20 webforms Browser Configuration Guide Version 9.0 Overview This document will help Trade Partners set their web Browser Configuration for use with webforms. It is recommended you do this before you start using webforms. Browser Requirements The webforms application is designed for use with Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE) Versions 5.5, 6.0 or 7.0 Browser Configuration The webforms application requires your browser to be configured as follows: JavaScript enabled Cookies enabled Please follow the instructions included in this guide to enable JavaScript and Cookies for your Internet Explorer version. Internet Explorer 5.5 Internet Explorer 6.0 Internet Explorer 7.0 If you do not have access to perform the functions detailed in this guide please see your company s IT security specialist. 2 Page 2 of 20 Browser Configurations for Internet Explorer v5.5 The following pages describe the browser configurations for Internet Explorer version Launch IE Select Internet Options from Tools menu in the IE 5.5. Result: The Internet Options dialog box appears.

3 Page 3 of 20 For enabling Cookies 3 Click the Security tab. 4 Click Custom Level. Result: The Security Settings dialog box appears.

4 Page 4 of 20 5 Scroll to view the Cookies option. 6 Select Enable in the Allow cookies that are stored on your computer

6 Page 6 of 20 8 Select Enable. 9 Click OK on the Security Settings dialog box. Result: The dialog box is closed and Internet Options dialog box appears. 10 Click OK on the Internet Options dialog box. Result: The dialog box is closed.

7 Page 7 of 20 Browser Configurations for Internet Explorer v6.0 The following pages describe the browser configurations for Internet Explorer version 6.0. For IE Select Internet Options from Tools menu in IE 6.0. Result: The Internet Options dialog box appears.

8 Page 8 of 20 For enabling Cookies 2 Click the Privacy tab. 3 Click Edit. Result: The Per Site Privacy s dialog box appears.

9 Page 9 of 20 4 Type the Mincom Axis WebView URL in the Address of Website textbox. Note: For Woolworths Trade Partners please use the following URL: 5 Click Allow. Result: The URL is added to the Managed Web sites list. 6 Click OK on the Per Site Privacy s dialog box. Result: The dialog box is closed and Internet Options dialog box appears.

10 Page 10 of 20 For enabling JavaScript 7 Click Security tab on the Internet Options dialog box. 8 Click Custom Level. Result: The Security Settings dialog box appears.

11 Page 11 of 20 9 Scroll down to view Scripting option. 10 Select Enable in Active scripting. 11 Select Enable in Allow paste operations via support.

12 Page 12 of Select Enable in Scripting of Java applets. 13 Click OK on the Security Settings dialog box. Result: The dialog box is closed and Internet Options dialog box appears. 14 Click OK on the Internet Options dialog box. Result: The dialog box is closed.

13 Browser Configurations for Internet Explorer v7.0 The following pages describe the browser configurations for Internet Explorer version 7.0. Page 13 of 20 1 Select Internet Options from the Tools menu in IE 7.0. Result: The Internet Options dialog box appears.

14 Page 14 of 20 For clearing browsing 2 Within Browsing history, Click Settings. 3 Within Temporary Internet Files, ensure either Every time I visit the webpage or Automatically is selected. Click OK. Result: The Temporary Internet Files dialog box closed and the Internet Options dialog box appears

16 Page 16 of 20 5 Click Sites. Result: The Per Site Privacy s dialog box appears. Type the Mincom Axis WebView URL in the Address of Website textbox and click Allow. Note: For Woolworths Trade Partners please use the following URL:

17 Page 17 of 20 6 Result: The URL is added to the Managed Web sites list, as seen below. 7 Click OK on the Per Site Privacy s dialog box. Result: The dialog box is closed and Internet Options dialog box appears.

20 Page 20 of Scroll down to view Scripting option. 11 Select Enable in Active scripting. 12 Select Enable in Scripting of Java applets. 13 Click OK on the Security Settings dialog box. Result: The dialog box is closed and Internet Options dialog box appears. 14 Click OK on the Internet Options dialog box. Result: The dialog box is closed. 15 Close the Internet browser and restart to make all these changes effective.
