2 INSTRUCTIONS This Mini Mock paper is designed to test your preparation for Final-Term examinations. It contains the same question format as Cambridge International Examinations. The level of difficulty is kept at medium level and it contains critical thinking questions that require you to think out-of-the-box. Some of these questions will test your analytic skill and you need to concentrate on your daily life to find answers. Answers should be logical and clear without any ambiguous statements. The quality of describing and explanation answers should meet a certain standard to be marked fully. Double answers are considered wrong as well as poorly drawn diagrams. All calculations, until and unless told explicitly, should be done in the rough section at the end of this question paper. No calculators are allowed! Time: 1 hour 45 minutes. 4 QUESTION 2 a) Following are some terminologies related to the use of hexadecimal numbers. Rearrange the following sequence of steps by writing the correct order number in the Sequence Number column. The first one is done for you. Decide the maximum number of characters you would need to input a name and an address. Estimate the maximum size of file needed to store the name and address. [2] (iv) A security system contains a password (8 characters long), a username (35 characters long), a small photo (100 x 100 pixels in size) and a security question (up to 150 characters long).
