1 Peninsula OsiriX COURSE This course will build a knowledge base through a brief introduction to using Macs and then onward through uploading, anonymising, editing and displaying images. It is aimed primarily at Radiologists involved in teaching and examination. The course aims to be hands on, with opportunity to edit cases and build files. The course will be held at the Peninsula Radiology academy, which is a state of the art Radiology training facility in Plymouth, near Derriford Hospital. Travel links are excellent as the Academy is only 1.2 miles from Plymouth airport and 4.2 miles from Plymouth train station. Discounted accommodation is available within minutes walk. There are enough Macs for everyone to have their own computer, assuming a 24-person maximum, so places will be allocated on a first come basis. If you wish to use your own mac laptop, please inform us in advance. There will be opportunities to work on your own cases and a selection provided by the course some of which will be studded with faults or issues that will have to be corrected, you will supported by the on site team who have a wide experience with this system. Optional sessions to address personal interest or requirements will be included on the last day. We hope that this course will provide the expertise to enable the attendees to confidently accrue a teaching archive, edit data into a presentable examination format and feel comfortable examining in this format. It will also help you become more familiar with the OsiriX interface and explore various features of OsiriX.
