1 HOW TO ADD A COMMERCIAL LISTING FOR SALE WITH MEDIA OVERVIEW: Adding and updating listings are performed in the LISTING section of CREST EDG. Not only will you be able to add / update your listing but also manage listing photos, virtual tours etc. When adding your listings, please note that all required fields will be indicated with a red asterisk and must be filled in. NOTE: All CREST EDG access levels except READ ONLY (RA) can add and update listings in CREST EDG. TO ADD A COMMERCIAL LISTING FOR SALE 1. Log into CREST EDG and click on LISTINGS from the left menu. The LISTING MANAGEMENT screen will be displayed. 1. From the top menu bar click on the LISTING drop down menu, then select Add Listing from the sub-menu. The ADD LISTING screen will be displayed.
2 2. If your company has multiple offices, make sure to choose the correct office that the listing contract is tied to. To do so, select the office name from the OFFICE drop-down list. 3. Next choose the LISTING TYPE from the drop down list. In this example we have chosen Residential Rental as the type of listing you intend to add. In order to customize the system to populate field for commercial listings, please do the following: 4. In the Property Information tab, select the PROPERTY TYPE, PROPERTY SUB TYPE and PROPERTY STYLE from the drop-down menus. The ADD LISTING screen contains multiple sub-sections that require you to enter information about the listing you intend to add to the system such as: - Property Information - Listing Information - Listing Remarks - Media - Seller Information, etc 5. In PROPERTY LOCATION section enter the Address, City, State, Zip/Postal Code. You may also enter the Neighborhood and Region if desired. All fields denoted with red asterisks (*) are required. NOTE: You must click on the MAP IT button to Geocode the property location. In addition, you may also enter the Latitude and Longitude coordinates, if available. 6. Fill out the PROPERTY DETAILS SECTION
3 7. Next, in the FEATURES section, click on the SELECT FEATURES button, then select the applicable Property Features for the listing. NOTE: After selecting the Property Features, make sure to scroll to the bottom of the features screen and click on the SAVE CHANGES button. Otherwise, all your selected property features will not be saved. In the FLOORS section, click on the ADD NEW FLOOR button. 8. Enter the FLOOR NAME, LENGTH, WIDTH and DESCRIPTION. NOTE: After entering FLOOR information: a. Click on the green check mark -- ( ) to save the information. b. If you need to delete it, click on red x (x) c. To add more Floors, click on the ADD NEW FLOOR button 9. In the CONTACT DETAILS section, fill in the required fields. Note: Filling out this section is not mandatory. But after selecting ADD NEW CONTACT button, required fields will be activated.
4 NOTE: a. If the Property and Contact person s address are the same, select the box to the left of Use Property Address as Contract Address. b. CREST EDG stores all Contacts that were previously entered. This enables you to search for and select a contact from the database. To do so, just click on the Search Contact button. Let s move on to the LISTING INFORMATION SECTION: 10. Enter the LISTING DETAILS, such as: - List Price & Currency - Date Listed & Expired On - Term Days - New Construction - Show/Not Show on Internet etc. 11. Add the SALES ASSOCIATE INFORMATION for the agent that is representing on the listing. To do so, click on the ADD NEW SALES ASSOCIATE button. 12. If you have an MLS ID for the listing, enter the MLS ID in the field provided in the MLS INFORMATION section. Note: To add multiple MILS ID s, just click on the ADD NEW MLS ID button. The LISTING FEATURE section:
5 13. To select a Special Program feature, just click inside the box located to the left of the applicable feature Next, the INCOME & FINANCIAL INFORMATION screen will be displayed 14. Enter all applicable information, if applicable. 15. Next, in the LISTING REMARKS section, click on the ADD NEW REMARKS button. The following Listing Remark dialog box will appear: 16. Select the LANGUAGE 17. Select the REMARK TYPE. In this example, we have chosen Property Description from the REMARK TYPE drop-down list. 18. Next type in the LISTING REMARK based on the Remark Type you have chose NOTE: After entering LISTING REMARK information: a. Click on the green check mark -- ( ) to save the information. b. If you need to delete it, click on red x (x) c. To enter additional types of remark information, just click on the ADD NEW REMARK button then repeat Steps 16 thru 18 above The saved LISTING REMARK will appear as shown above. If you need to edit the Description, just click on the pencil icon ADDING MEDIA TO THE LISTING
6 The LISTING section enables you to add the following Media types: - Photos - Floor Plans - Listing Document - Video Walk Through - Local Listing Link - Virtual Tours 19. Click on the ADD PHOTO button to locate and select the photos stored on your computer. 20. Once you have located the photos, hold down your control key to select multiple photos that you intend to upload. 21. Click on the OPEN button to upload the photos into the system. The uploaded photos will be displayed.
7 NOTE: You can Start Slideshow, change sequence by dragging and dropping photos in the order you prefer. You can also do photo cropping. TIPS: Use this to hyperlink to view the photos in slide show mode Use this icon to view photos in thumb-nail view (shown above) Use this icon to view photos in list view If you intend to add any other media types, click on the named hyperlink, then select the ADD NEW MEDIA 22. If you intend to add any other media types, click on the name hyperlink, the select the ADD NEW MEDIA button. IN THE SELLER INFORMATION SECTION 23. Enter the SELLER TYPE, NAME, PHONE, and ADDRESS information 24. Select the SELLER SOURCE and SELLER LEAD
8 25. Click the SUBMIT button to save the listing. The listing will be saved and stored in the RECENTLY UPDATED section of the system. If you would like to make changes to the listing or listing photos, you can use the ACTION icons located to the left of the Listing ID To Edit Listing To Edit Media To Quick Update Listing
