RSA SecurID, is a tw-factr authenticatin based n smething yu knw (a Passcde r PIN) and smething yu have (an authenticatr such as a keyfb r smartphne RSA applicatin) - prviding a much mre reliable level f user authenticatin than nly a passwrd. The Passcde (Passcde) autmatically changes every 60 secnds. Fr additinal detailed infrmatin, g t The Passcde is available as a hardware device, a key fb r a sftware applicatin residing n yur smartphne (iphne, Andrid device). Key fb devices have an expiratin date. The expiratin date will be displayed n the back f the device. Yu must return yur key fb t IT prir t the expiratin date and btain a new device. Yu are respnsible fr the safe keeping f yur key fb and must return the device t IT if yu leave the emply f the University r n lnger require the use f such a device. 4 RSA Tken PIN Initializatin / Setup Guide Selecting & Initializing Yur New PIN Hardware Tken (Key Fb) Enter yur RUNet username in the User ID field Enter the 6-digit Passcde displayed n yur key fb (n spaces) Click Lg In If yu get an errr that access was denied as the server rejected the Passcde, yu must wait until the Passcde changes n yur key fb befre trying again Enter a PIN it must be between 6 and 8 numbers (cannt lead with a 0) Users are required t authenticate with the new PIN befre it becmes active G t Enter yur RUNet username in the User ID field Enter yur PIN (selected abve) and the Passcde displayed n yur key fb (n spaces). Yu will be prmpted t select a new PIN. Make sure yur PIN is between 6 and 8 numbers and des nt start with 0. P a g e 4

Cmpatible with mst recent ios versins. Open the received frm IT n yur device using the default / built-in app Mail - and click the link within 7 days. Users wh use anther app r webmail, may encunter issues. Enter 0000 fr the PIN Tap the right arrw A 8-digit Passcde will be displayed Enter yur RUNet username in the User ID field Enter the Passcde displayed n yur iphne (n spaces) Click Lg In If yu get an errr that access was denied as the server rejected the Passcde, yu must wait until the Passcde changes n yur iphne befre trying again Enter a PIN it must be between 6 and 8 numbers (cannt lead with a 0) Users are required t authenticate with the new PIN befre it becmes active Launch the RSA app n the iphne Enter yur PIN number If yu enter the wrng pin, yu will still see a Passcde n the next screen, but the Passcde will be invalid). Cmpatible with devices running recent Andrid OS versins. Open the received frm IT n yur device using the default / built-in app /Mail - and click the link within 7 days. Users will need t cme in persn t the IT Help Desk t validate their identificatin. Once yur PIN is reset yu may fllw the instructins belw.
