3 Import Map and Elevations. Navigate to the maps tab 2. Type in address, hit Go. Move map to location by clicking and dragging map 4. Switch to Satellite mode 5. Import to Workspace 6. Auto Model to have IrriExpress create triangles, pull in DTM points and draw contours

4 Import Map and Elevations. Decide spacing of DTM points

5 Place Pivot. Turn off DTM by unchecking the box 2. Navigate to the Irrigation menu. Select Pivot > Center Point and click on map where you want to place a pivot 4. Drag pivot to desired length and select number of spans 5. Click Ok 2 4 5

6 Place Block. Select Block from Irrigation Menu 2. Click on Rectangle. Select point on map and draw block, click on map again to complete block 4. Click ESC when complete 2 4 Click ESC

7 Fill Block. Select Block (it will be highlighted) 2. Select Solid Set. Select Model for emitters in block, hit OK 2

8 Fill Block. Select Pipes for block, hit Ok

9 Fill Block. Select the Row Spacing and Emitter Spacing, click Ok

10 Fill Block. Move layout to desired location and click to place down emitters To rotate emitters, use the Page Up and Page Down keys to before clicking and placing down emitters

11 Create Valve to Block. Navigate to the Irrigation menu 2. Click on Node. Select a Valve, click Ok 2

12 Create Valve to Block. Select point on map and click to place down valve 2. Click ESC when done. Click Cancel on the node menu that comes up

13 Create Manifold for Block. Select the Block, it will be highlighted 2. Click on Place Right on the manifold menu. Select the manifold type, click Ok 2

14 Create Mainline. See the manifold placed from the previous steps 2. Select the Mainline from the top right menu. Navigate to the Irrigation menu 4. Select Node 5. Select Pump, choose your type of pump, and click Ok 4 2 5

15 Create Mainline. Click on map to place down pump 2. Click ESC when done. Click cancel on the node menu that comes up again

16 Create Mainline. Navigate to the Irrigation menu 2. Click on Pipe. Select the pipe class and type for your mainline 4. Click Ok 2 4

17 Create Mainline. Snap to the Pump. It should be highlighted with a red box. 2. Once you are snapped to the pump, click on New Node on the menu to the left. Select the fitting image 2

18 Create Mainline. Place down a line of fittings towards your pivot 2. On the left menu, change the mode to Snapping. Snap to the pivot node. It will be highlighted with a red box. 4. After snapping to the pivot node, click ESC 2

19 Create Mainline. You are still in the Snapping mode 2. Snap to either a point on the mainline or directly to the valve of the block 2

20 Create Mainline. Switch to New Node on the left menu 2. Select the fitting image. Place down a line of fittings towards your block valve 2

21 Create Mainline. Using the left menu, switch back to Snapping mode 2. Click and snap to the block s valve. Click ESC twice and click cancel when the node menu comes up again 2

22 Run Hydraulics on Block. Select the block, it will be highlighted 2. Click on the Run button on the top menu. If you can not see the Vale Pressure input box, check the Reduced Size at the bottom 4. Input a desired Valve Pressure, click enter 5. Navigate to the Sizing tab 6. Click Update Pipe Sizes 7. View results

23 Run Hydraulics on Block. Navigate between the tabs (Nodes, Pipes, Reports, Sizing, Shifts) to view the details of the block 2. Click on the Refresh button if the Nodes or Pipes details are not shown. Close when completed

24 Run Hydraulics on Mainline. Select the Mainline on the right hand menu

25 Run Hydraulics on Mainline. Navigate to the Irrigation menu 2. Click the Run button. Navigate to the Sizing tab and click Update Pipe Sizes 4. View results 5. When complete, click Close 2 4 5

26 Run Analysis on Pivot. Select the Pivot, it will be highlighted 2. Click on the Section Analysis button 2

27 Run Analysis on Pivot. Select the limits to view on the pivot 2. Change the limit values in the input boxes. Click the Travel button and view the pivot move in the bottom graph 2

28 Run Analysis on Pivot. Navigate between the top tabs to view more about the pivot 2. Below the Pivot Details are shown. Click on the Section Report to have IrriExpress automatically create a pivot report 2

30 Labels and Appearance. Turn on or off different labels by using the General menu 2. Adjust the labels size using the sliding bars. Adjust the image s transparency using the Object Inspector 2
