There are two ways to get started: 1) Start with a blank project. Build your project from scratch. Add your own photos, text, and choose from thousands of pieces of artwork to add to your project. 2) Start with a template. Templates are a great way to start a project while still providing you the flexibility to change things. These are not your typical templates! Each of our templates allows you to unlock and move elements around as well as add your own photos, text, and artwork. (*Some templates require a Premier Account*)
6 1. Select start with a blank project and choose which project type you want. 2. Name your project and click continue. (Note: you can rename your project at any time during project creation. However, whatever project size you select will be the size you have to keep. For example: If you choose an 8x8 orientation and after you ve started the project you decide you wish to have it be a 12x12, you will have to start from scratch in the new size.) 3. Select click here to begin NOTE: The first time you use our publishing system, you may be required to install Adobe Flash Player and allow Flash Player to use up to 10 MB of storage on your computer. If you see this warning, please click Allow to continue. At any time, you can view all of your projects from the my projects & templates tab. This is where you will access completed projects that have been archived as well as templates you have chosen from the template gallery. This section will list the project name, size, and last edit date. This section also allows you to view the project, make a copy, rename it, or delete it altogether.

If the image doesn t just drop into place hold down the ctrl key on the keyboard. Drag desired photos to page Crop, resize and rotate Use text box to add text Drag desired artwork to page Drag and drop backgrounds Layer and save! (use left mouse to drag) and embellishments desired Important tips to drag and drop publishing: When resizing images make sure not to exceed the resolution limits of the image. If you make it too large a yellow, orange or red line appears around the image. Keep the line green and you ll always have clear images when printed. If images do not automatically drop into place, hold down the ctrl key on the keyboard. Although Studio automatically saves it is a good idea to save your project as you go along.

At Heritage Makers, we believe in the importance and power of the individual and family stories. Our updated Cornerstone Template series was designed to help you record the most important stories in your life. We have hundreds of user-submitted templates available in our gallery. If you continue shopping, you can find the template later under the 'My Templates' section of your Studio. Once your template is open in the creative center, click on the location you d like to place your own photo. To drag and drop, simply left click with your mouse (you may need to hold down the ctrl key on the keyboard as well) and drag the image over the space. Let go of the mouse and your image drops in place. Do this on each page and you re done in a flash!
16 Step 7: Publish your project When you have completed your project and are ready for it to be printed select publish from the creative center. Your project will be placed in completed projects and archived for the life of your account. You can also add items in your completed projects to your shopping cart for publishing at any time. Follow the prompts to order the number of copies you need and how many publishing credits you wish to use. Make sure to contact me if you don t have any credits on your account. I can save you money if you order through me! If you have visited the template gallery and placed templates in your my templates folder, you can start your own project by accessing your templates. These are not projects in process but you can begin them at any time! Templates are a fantastic way to save time on any project idea!
