OUTLINE Purpose: Pursuant to 33 C/Resolution 88, the Director-General submits to the General Conference this information document which contains particulars of the standard-setting activities envisaged at UNESCO and a comprehensive report on all the Organization s standard-setting instruments, and more particularly on the status of ratification of conventions. As part of the general monitoring of the standard-setting instruments that the Executive Board s Committee on Conventions and Recommendations (CR) is required to monitor, the Executive Board examined this document at its 202nd session without making any specific comments. No decision is required. 1. In 33 C/Resolution 88, the General Conference invited the Director-General to submit to it at each of its sessions "an information document containing particulars of the standard-setting activities envisaged at UNESCO and a comprehensive report on all the Organization's standard-setting instruments, and more particularly on the status of ratification of conventions, with comments by the Executive Board". 2. This document, drawn up to give effect to 33 C/Resolution 88, contains the following information: A.
