2 Fortimo Linear LED systems are the ideal solution for your luminaires Office Retail Industry Fortimo Linear LED systems would traditionally have been equipped with fluorescent tubes. The range offers solutions for all the different types of luminaires, from recessed and surface mounted office luminaires to trunking and profile luminaires, and from retail to waterproof and high bay luminaires in industrial applications. Fortimo equals an exceptional quality of light, the highest energy efficiency and lifetime and a five year system warranty. Together with our Xitanium driver portfolio, Fortimo systems offer the freedom to tune and differentiate on lumen output, efficacy and lifetime. The difference between Fortimo LED Line and Fortimo LED Strip We offer two variations: Fortimo LED Line and Fortimo LED Strip. Both offer similar options in terms of lumenper-length ratios. However, LED Strip is narrower, enabling increased miniaturization and use of designer elements in luminaire design. The Fortimo LED Line system is more suited to functional applications and features easier thermal management thanks to its slightly broader dimensions.

3 High quality white light High color rendering index Color rendering index (CRI) indicates a light source s ability to reveal the colors of objects faithfully in comparison with a natural light source. Philips LED modules are specified with a minimum CRI of 80 or 90. Greater than 80 is more than adequate for general lighting applications. Light sources with a high CRI are recommended in color-critical applications, such as in hospitals or art galleries. Lighting with a CRI greater than 90 is slightly less efficient than CRI 80, which impacts energy consumption. Philips offers both options in order to enable you balance to between application needs and total cost of ownership. 3 SDCM Standard Deviation of Color Matching (SDCM) relates to color shift and is measured in MacAdam Ellipses. A 1-step MacAdam ellipse defines a zone in the color space within which the human eye cannot perceive any difference in color. The lower the number of MacAdam ellipses, the better the color quality. Fortimo linear LED systems deliver 3 SDCM, thereby minimizing differences in color that are visible to the human eye and maintaining the right balance between cost and performance. A range of color temperatures Fortimo linear LED systems are available in three color temperatures, offering a choice to cover most applications. white (around 3000 K) neutral white (around 4000 K) cool white (around 5000 K).

4 Fortimo and Xitanium - partners in performance The Fortimo LED linear portfolio comprises isolated (low-voltage) and non-isolated (high-voltage) systems. Non-isolated LED Line systems are for Class I luminaires where that there is no possibility of accidental contact with the live parts in the system. A non-isolated system has the advantage of being more efficient, cheaper and the driver has shorter dimensions. The isolated system allows you to make open-louvered Class II luminaires. Xitanium Drivers Luminaire performance is determined by the sum of its component parts. So in addition to the Fortimo LED lighting modules, we also offer an extensive range of Xitanium LED drivers. The range includes window drivers that give you the freedom to adjust current to meet specific application requirements. This makes it easier to differentiate your luminaire designs in terms of lumen output, efficacy or lifetime. The linear Xitanium driver portfolio includes isolated and non-isolated drivers, in fixed light output, 1-10 V and DALI versions. 6 Fortimo LED Line Fortimo LED Line systems are designed to produce pure white light for general lighting applications with high efficiency levels. The Fortimo LED Line portfolio consists of 2 main ranges of products, which have been differentiated by the number of rows of LEDs on the module. The range with 1 row of LEDs is identified with 1R, the range with 3 rows of LEDs is identified with 3R. Both ranges feature a variety of different length modules, lumen packages and color temperatures. The Fortimo LED Line 1R system, with 1 row of LEDs on the module, is ideal for applications requiring beam shaping and where light is intended to fall on a vertical surface, such as racking or shelves. The Fortimo LED Line 3R systems have been designed to produce high efficiency, pure white light, for general lighting applications where diffuse lighting on the horizontal plane is key. The range is ideal for incorporating into luminaires for use in general office lighting, where energy efficiency and glare control are of utmost importance. 9 Fortimo LED Strip Design is a major differentiator for you as a luminaire designer/manufacturer. But you cannot afford to compromise on the quality of light or to accept less than the best in terms of energy efficiency. This fourth generation of LED Strip makes sure you don t have to. Fortimo LED Strip allows you to design high-performance, slim linear LED luminaires without having to compromise on design freedom, quality of light, or total cost of ownership. The systems are ideal for use in luminaires for direct lighting in offices, banks, schools, public buildings, supermarkets and anywhere where a small, slim, flexible form factor is appreciated. Fortimo LED Strip high flux is designed to enable LED lighting at higher application heights where more light is needed, such as trunking, battens and high-bay applications in warehouses, factories or big retail stores. Perfect mix of design freedom and high energy efficiency. Variation in lengths The Fortimo LED Strip of 0.5 ft, 1 ft and 2 ft sizing follows the Zhaga standard. The range has been extended with a 1150 mm and 1450 mm length LED Strip. Advantages of the longer length LED modules are: Only one module to mount in a luminaire No more wiring between modules Optimized length of 1150 mm or 1450 mm The 1150 mm and 1450mm length is mimicking the T5 4 ft and T5 5 ft length, enabling easy LEDification of fluorescent based luminaire designs, while minimizing dark ends in the luminaire. These range extensions are available with a frontside connector, or with the connector on the back/ bottomside of the module. Indicated with a B or F at the end of the product name. Having the connector and ballast on the same working level can speed up assembly, and will remove the possibilities of optical interference of the connector and wires.
