1 Weight increments for deadweight testers P3000 Pneumatic Deadweight Tester High performance gas deadweight tester, with unique suspended piston design for vacuum calibration. P300 Hydraulic Deadweight Tester Highly accurate oil deadweight tester, with quick and easy-to-use single and dual piston deadweight models. Deadweight testers use a precision piston-gauge system consisting of a vertically mounted piston and cylinder assembly, and accurately calibrated weight masses that are loaded onto the piston. Weight sets are available in a variety of units of measure, such as psi, inh₂o or MPa, and are calibrated to match a specific deadweight tester. For example, the P3-BAR is a weight set that that matches the P3 deadweight tester and the weight increments are in units of bar. The tables in this document indicate the pressure increments found in each weight set that ships with a new deadweight tester, and the quantity of each weight. The tables also apply to conversion weight sets, which provide additional units of measure without purchasing an additional deadweight tester. On certain deadweight testers, a fine increment weight set is also available. This is useful when calibrating a wide range of devices by allowing for more discrete pressure set points. These smaller weights supplement the larger weights to produce fine incremental pressures.
