1 ONLINE installation procedure (to view documentation on a PC which is normally connected to the internet): 1. Download the file IvecoSec_Setup.exe 2. Start the installation and choose your language 3. Choose the installation type a. Full installation: select this option to install all components necessary for licence activation and document viewing 4. Select the version of Adobe Acrobat which the plugin is to be installed on:

2 5. Follow the on-screen instructions to proceed with the installation, leaving the default settings unchanged 6. When the installation has finished the licence will be automatically activated: insert your Username and Password (the same you use to access the portal),then click on the Register button 7. At the end of activation the plugin will have been correctly installed and activated The application may now be closed by clicking on the X on the top right of the screen.

3 OFF-LINE installation procedure: This procedure installs the plugin to view documentation on a PC which is not normally connected to the internet. In order to perform these steps you will need: - A PC connected to the internet - USB pendrive (or shared network drive) Download and save the plugin file onto the pendrive or the network drive A - Plugin licence generation on a PC NOT CONNECTED to the Internet: 1. Insert the USB pendrive (or connect to the shared network drive) 2. Start the installation of the file you have downloaded to the pendrive and choose your language

4 3. Choose the installation type Full installation: select this option to install all components necessary for licence activation and document viewing 4. Select the version of Adobe Acrobat which the plugin is to be installed on:

5 5. Follow the on-screen instructions to proceed with the installation, leaving the default settings unchanged 6. When the installation has finished the licence will be automatically activated. As the PC is not connected to the internet, the following error message will be displayed after a few seconds: click on the Save Request button 7. Select the drive (USB or network share) to save the licence activation request on and click on OK (the drive letter, H:, may vary depending on the PC you are using) 8. Select the correct drive and click on OK 9. When it has finished saving, the following message will be displayed (the drive letter, H:, may vary depending on the PC you are using): click on OK again to complete the process.

6 B- Licence activation on a PC with Internet connection: 1. Insert the USB pendrive or connect the network share which the licence was previously saved to 2. Start the plugin installation and choose your language 3. Choose the installation type Only IvecoLic: choose this option to only install the licence activation component 4. Follow the on-screen instructions to proceed with the installation.

7 5. The licence activation procedure will start automatically; click on IvecoLic Menu then on Acquire registration data to import the previously generated licence 6. When the plugin displays the message Registration data acquired; insert your User Name and Password to register IvecoSec on the Iveco Network, insert your Username and Password (the same used to access the portal) and click on the Register button 7. If the licence has been activated correctly, the software will display the message License file correctly generated! : the application may now be closed by clicking on the X on the top right of the screen.

9 C - Licence installation on a PC without Internet connection 1. Insert the USB pendrive (or connect to the network share) which the licence was saved to 2. Click on the IvecoLic icon on the desktop 3. As the PC is not connected to the internet, a connection error message will be displayed after a few seconds: click on the OK button 4. The following error message will then be displayed: click on the Retry button 5. The main plugin screen will appear

10 6. When the activation window appears, click on IvecoLic Menu then on Acquire License to install the activated licence 7. When the licence has been imported, the plugin will be completely installed and activated and the message New license imported will be displayed. Click on the X on the top right of the screen to close it.
