3 6 on / off switch wireless router laptop < HDMI in < HDMI out television(s) audio speaker(s) audio amplifier(s) audio in audio out sookbox server back-panel AC power chord Fig a - Wiring Diagram # DESCRIPTION Remove the sookbox BDS from the packaging and carefully place the unit either on rack shelf or centrally located to audio / video wiring access within your home. * Recommendation - An AV Installer is highly recommended if your home is not pre-wired for audio and/or video. * Recommendation - Place the sookbox BDS in a location that does not obstruct the back-panel from optimal ventilation (clearance > inches). Remove the AC power chord from the package and attach the appropriate end to the sookbox BDS back-panel and the other appropriate end an AC outlet within the same proximity to the sookbox BDS. Attach the appropriate HDMI cables (not provided) from the sookbox BDS back-panel to any of -to- video televisions with HDMI inputs throughout various zones within your home. * Note - Make sure television is switched to the appropriate HDMI input channel. Also, note that your television remote control is still needed for powering (on/off) and switching (input channels). * Recommendation - For HDMI cable connections > feet in length from the sookbox BDS to your television, an HDMI extender is highly recommended to assure there is no signal degradation (local AV Installer recommended to assist).

4 6 on / off switch wireless router laptop < HDMI in < HDMI out television(s) audio speaker(s) audio amplifier(s) m audio in audio out sookbox server back-panel AC power chord Fig b - Wiring Diagram # DESCRIPTION Attach the appropriate.mm input wires (not provided) from the sookbox BDS back-panel to any of -to-6 audio amplifiers throughout various zones within your home. * Note - Make sure the audio amplifier is switched to the appropriate audio input channel. Also, note that the audio amplifier remote control is still needed for powering (on/off) and switching (input channels). Attach the appropriate Ethernet cable from the sookbox BDS back-panel to available input connection of home internet wireless router. * Note - In this step we assume that the home wireless connection is readily available and that the user knows how to setup. 6 Turn both the sookbox BDS and laptop (desktop PC) on. * Note - This assumes that you have internet access from your laptop or desktop PC device readily available. On any of your Apple ipod, iphone, and ipad device(s) download the app. As you do for any of your apps downloads, simply go to the Apple itunes App Store and keyword search for the sookbox application and proceed to install our app on any of your Apple devices that you would like to use as your control. This application will manage your sookbox BDS and all synchronized content.

5 # DESCRIPTION 8 8 As shown in Step 6, from your laptop (desktop PC), go to the URL and select the file marked Windows Installer to launch and step through the setup wizard executable. Once the wizard has launched select Next. 9 As shown in Fig - Launch Setup Wizard, when the Register Editor menu is in view select Yes. 9 Fig - Launch Setup Wizard

6 # DESCRIPTION 0 After the Fig - Launch Setup Wizard has completed the installation on your laptop (desktop PC) you will see the Sookbox shortcut icon appear in your Favorites folder. 0 In the Favorites folder, double-click on the Sookbox icon to initiate the synchronization of all your digital content. This shortcut is essentially the sookbox BDS virtual folder for uploading all of your digital conten such as, but not limited to, movies, videos, music, etc. onto your sookbox BDS. * Option - If you manually seek for digital content in your windows explorer, once the conten is found and highlighted; you can simply right-click on the folder and then select Sync with Sookbox on the pop-up window. The selected digital content will be copied over to the sookbox BDS. * Option - You can also drag-and-drop you highlighted content over to the Sookbox icon and the content will be copied over to the sookbox BDS. 7 # DESCRIPTION As another option for syncing your digital content, double-click on the Sookbox File Manager icon on your laptop (desktop PC) to manage all of your digital content that currently resides on your laptop (desktop PC) of Step 6. After the Sookbox File Manager has launched, all of your digital content thatt currently resides on your laptop (desktop PC) of Step 6 is automatically synchronized and all file-pathshown. are in view are currently Fig - Synced Folder Management * Note - If you wish to remove any of the folders from the initial list, simply select the file-path row to remove and once highlighted click on the delete button. Next, click on the Save button if we wish to save the changes. * Note - After all contentt has been synchronized to your sookbox BDS, you can now disconnect your laptop (desktop PC) of Step 6 and will always be able to see all of your digital content when initiating the sookbox application previously setup on you any of your Apple mobile device(s) as shown in Step. If you wish to browse for another folder on your laptop (desktop PC) that was not automatically discovered with in Step, simply click on Select Folder and browse for the new folder of choice and select OK.
