2 Install XSL Formatter V Browse to the installer file Xfe25r1.exe. 2. Double-click on Xfe25r1.exe to start the installation. Installation screen appears. (See figure 1.0 Installation screen) Figure 1.0: Installation Screen 3. Click on XSL Formatter V2.5 option on the Installation Screen. License Agreement screen appears. (See figure 2.0 License Agreement screen) Figure 2.0: License Agreement Screen 4. Click Yes button on the screen to continue the wizard. Choose Destination Location screen appears. 3 5. Select the required destination location by using the Browse button on the screen. Setup will install XSL Formatter V2.5 in this location. Default Destination Location is C:\Prorgam Files\Antenna\XSL FormatterV2 Figure 3.0: Choose Destination Screen 6. Click Next button on the Choose Destination Location screen. XSL Formatter setup starts the installation operation and the setup status is displayed on the screen. (See figure 4.0 Setup Status) Figure 4.0: Setup Status 7. On completion of the setup operation message for adding shortcut on the desktop is displayed. 4 8. Click Yes to add the XSL Formatter shortcut on the desktop. Installation Wizard Complete screen appears. 5 Install PDF option for XSL formatter 1. Browse to the installer file Xpe25r1.exe. 2. Double-click on Xpe25r1.exe to start the installation. Installation screen appears. (See figure 7.0 Installation screen) Figure 7.0: Installation Screen 3. Click on PDF Option for XSL Formatter V2.5 option on the Installation Screen. License Agreement screen appears. 6 4. Click Yes button on the License Agreement screen. PDF option for XSL Formatter V2 setup starts the installation operation and the setup status is displayed on the screen. 7 Convert evaluation version to licensed version The installation procedure for XSL Formatter V2.5 and PDF option for XSL formatter explained earlier installs the evaluation version. To convert it to licensed version you will have to copy the Maintenance Service Key in the installation destination folder. Steps. 1. Browse to the Maintenance License Key folder. 2. Copy the "AXFOLIC.DAT" and "AXFOMLIC.DAT" files. 3. Paste the copied files in the installation destination location. Default Location is C:\Program Files\Antenna\XSLFormatterV2. Note: The "AXFOLIC.DAT" and "AXFOMLIC.DAT" files will be already present in the installation destination directory. You will have to replace the existing files with the files copied from the Maintenance License Key folder. 4. Launch XSL Formatter from windows start-menu. 8 Using XSL Formatter XSL Formatter outputs pdf compatible formatted xml file by transforming the xml files through xslt on the fly. You can print the formatted xml file to generate pdf. To generate the formatted xml file you will have to load the xml and transformation xsl file on the application and format the book. Format xml file 1. Double-click the XSLFormatter icon on the desktop to launch XSL Formatter. 2. Click File>Open option to see the Document/Stylesheet dialog box. Browse button Figure 12.0: Document/Stylesheet dialog box 3. Browse to the Bookid_FOP.xml file by using the browse button next to the Document text box. 4. Browse to the Bookid_Transform.xsl file by using the browse button next to the Stylesheet text box. 5. Click Format button on the Document/Stylesheet dialog box to generate the formatted xml file. The formatted xml file is displayed on the application interface. Generate PDF 1. Click File>Print option to see the Print dialog box. 2. Select Acrobat Distiller printer. 3.
