2 Step 1) OPEN Internet Explorer, Browse to Step 2) SCROLL to the bottom of the Page and CLICK - Download Cover Page Creator Step 3) You will be prompted to Save the file, CHOOSE Save AS Your dialogue window might look slightly different, depending on your version of Microsoft Windows CoverPage Creator Setup Guide Page 2 of 12

3 Step 4) A Dialogue Box will appear, asking you where to save the file - (1) We STRONGLY recommend choosing My Document or Documents o This is for future support requests as it will be simpler to know where the utility is located o If you choose an alternate location, you will need to substitute that location in place of references of My Documents through the rest of this Setup Guide Item (1) - (2) Please Leave the File Name as default CoverPageCreator.zip - (3) PRESS Save Button Item (3) CoverPage Creator Setup Guide Page 3 of 12

4 Step 5) Once Saved, Open your MyDocuments or Documents Folder - This can be done in various manners, and also depends on your Operating System - Most will allow you to goto your Start button and then choose Documents Step 6) Find the file called CoverPageCreator.zip - If Using Windows 7, Window 8, or Vista please Right Click the file and choose Properties CoverPage Creator Setup Guide Page 4 of 12

5 Step 7) CHOOSE UnBlock, and press OK CoverPage Creator Setup Guide Page 5 of 12

6 Step 8) RIGHT Click the File CoverPageCreator.zip, CHOOSE Extract ALL - Some Older Operating Systems may not have this menu item. If this is the case please send us an at coverpage@summitokc.com or goto and enter a support request. We will provide you an alternative file or help you UnZip this. - As well on some of the older operating systems, you possibly might have an application for Unzipping a file already installed, this can be tested by Double Clicking the zip file and seeing if it opens in another utility. 7 Step 9) Have the file Extract or Unzip to your MyDocuments or Documents Folder. Step 10) You Can Now Delete or Recycle the Zip File CoverPageCreator.zip by RIGHT clicking the file and choosing delete CoverPage Creator Setup Guide Page 7 of 12

8 Step 11) Open the Folder the Zip or Extracting Process Created in your My Documents called CoverPageCreator Step 11) Find the File Called CNDC_ScanningCoverPages.exe CoverPage Creator Setup Guide Page 8 of 12

9 Step 12) - Right Click the File from step 11 - Choose, SEND TO - A new menu pops up - Choose Desktop (create shortcut) - If you do not have this menu item, o Right Click the File from Step 11, and HOLD the right mouse button down o Drag the file (like you were copying) to the Desktop o Upon releasing the Right Mouse Button, a menu will appear o CHOOSE Create Shortcut here On either method: - You can choose to Right Click this file and Rename this to a Simpler name at your discretion Step 13) Close All open files and folders associated with this install CoverPage Creator Setup Guide Page 9 of 12

10 Step 14) Doubleclick the new Icon you created on your desktop Step 15) - Cover Page Creator will now Open - Choose Start Creating Cover Pages CoverPage Creator Setup Guide Page 10 of 12

11 Step 16) Choose your Facility Name from the Top Menu Step 17) Close the Application by pressing the X in the corner. - This forces the Saving of your facilty for future Uses CoverPage Creator Setup Guide Page 11 of 12
