3 2. System Operation Write the server name next to his pager number with a Dry Erase Marker (included) Warning! Regular ink will make permanent marks, making name changes difficult-clean with a non-abrasive cleaner ONLY! The name panels can easily be removed and replaced to simplify pager assignment. Press the number that corresponds to the servers name on the sending unit and that pager will silently vibrate. Range of this system should easily cover even the largest of restaurants. You can send a single, double or triple vibration to servers, sending them to different parts of the kitchen. For example: 1 vibe means going to the hot line, 2 vibes mean going to the salad station, etc. 1. To page a pager with a single vibe

4 Press the corresponding number. If you make Set Default MSG ON, it will vibrate once and the green LED light on top will turn on according to its saved default message. And if you make Set Default MSG OFF, it will work with no message. (Z0410 Vibe only pager vibrates twice) 2. To page a pager with a dual vibe (2X MENU function) Press the 2X MENU button once and then press the corresponding pager number within 5 seconds. You can label what 2X means on the space. The pager will vibrate twice and the yellow LED light on top will turn on when it receives the page. (Z0410 Vibe only pager vibrates three times) 3. To page a pager with a triple vibe (3X SELECT function) Press the 3X SELECT button once and then press the corresponding server pager number within 5 seconds. You can label what the 3X means on the space. The pager will vibrate 3 times and the red LED light on top will turn on when it receives the page. (Z0410 Vibe only pager vibrates 4 times) 4. Repage feature You may select to have this system page the server one time only or repage them 3 times if the food has not

5 been picked up. (See programming instructions) The system can also notify the manager on an optional digital pager with the tardy server pager number. 5. To cancel a pager Press the corresponding number on the Servercall until it beeps once and the light goes off. If you do not cancel the page and the repage feature is turned on, the pager will repage the server 2 more times automatically every 15 seconds (this feature is adjustable for 15 seconds, 30 seconds, 45 seconds, 60 seconds, and 120 seconds). The Servercall will change from green (food up for 15 seconds) to yellow (food up for 30 seconds) to red (food up for 45 seconds) and flashing red (food dying in the window!). At that point the system can page the manager pager with notifying him the server number that there is food up in need of attention. 6. To page all pagers Press ALL PAGE button over 3 seconds and the green light comes on. All pagers will vibrate 4 times. (Z0410 Vibe only pager vibrates 6 times) 7. To page manager(s)

6 Press the MGR button shortly and then the green light comes on about 2 seconds. When you want to page all managers, press the MGR ALL button over 3 seconds These buttons only work if you have purchased the optional manager display pager. If you did mot purchase a display pager, any pager (1-24) can be given to he manager and be used as a manager pager. 8. To sleep all pagers Press ENTER button more than 5 seconds. And then all the pager including server pagers and manager pagers go to sleep mode. 3. System Programming To enter programming mode press SET UP button. And then input the password (User Password: 1379, Master Password: 2580). And then, you can select menu by pressing 2X MENU button. Button #10 functions as No.0 Menu #1 = Set Current Time With this feature, you can set current time.

7 The buttons 1-10 can be entered to correspond to the hours of the day. Press 1-10 to set the hours. After you finished hour setting, press ENTER key to set the minutes. Press button 1-10 to set the minutes. Then press ENTER to change AM/PM. Use 2X MENU button to toggle between AM/PM. The current time must be set in order to have an accurate sleep shutdown. Press ENTER to exit this menu. Menu #2 = Setting Pager Sleep Time With this feature, you can set the pager sleep time. You can choose the function of Sleep Time between ON/OFF by toggle 3X SELECT button and then press ENTER. 1) When you select Sleep Time ON, you can set Sleep Time. How to set the Sleep Time is as same as Current Time setting. 2) And when you select Sleep Time OFF and press ENTER button to exits the Menu Options. Menu #3 = Set Range Test

8 With this feature, you can determine what distance your ServerCall will cover. Remove a couple of pagers from the charger base. At the range test menu, press 3X SELECT button to turn ranger test ON Press ENTER to start the range test. As soon as range test is activated you ll notice the pagers flash once every 10 seconds. Walk around your property. When you reach the point where the pagers do not flash consistently, this is your maximum range. Press the CANCEL button to stop the range test. Press the CANCEL button again to exit the Menu Options. Menu #4 = Setting the Pre-Set Message With this feature, you can set the preset message. The preset default message is selectable (1-4). At the Pre-Set Message menu, press ENTER button to enter Pre-Set MSG setting. Press 3X SELECT button to toggle between ON/Off and then press ENTER button. Input preset default message among 1-4. Press ENTER button to save the preset default message. Press CANCEL button to exit the Pre-Set MSG menu.

9 Menu #5 = Set Pager Alert With this feature, you have the option of changing the way of the pagers alerting the servers or managers. Be sure that all pagers are returned before performing this procedure. Remove all pagers from the charger base or unplug the power supply that is connected to the charger base. At the Set Pager Alert menu, press ENTER button to enter Set Pager Alert. Press 2X MENU button to toggle through the different alert options. After making a selection, press ENTER button 3 times. After sending the code, the pager will now respond with your selection. Return all pagers to the charger base or plug the power supply. The pagers are ready to receive the page with the new alert mode. Menu #6 = Setting the Out of Range With this feature, the pagers will play a melody when the pagers are taken Out of the ServerCall to inform they are out of range and will miss their page. Out of Range ON - Remove all pagers from the charger base or unplug the power supply that is connected to the

10 charger base. - At the Out of Range menu, press ENTER button to enter the out of range menu. - Press 2X MENU button to make Out of Range ON. - Press ENTER button 3 times. After sending the signal, all pagers will light up once to tell you that they received the new code. - Press CANCEL button to exit the system programming menu. Out of Range OFF - Remove all pagers from the charger base or unplug the power supply that is connected to the charger base. - At the Out of Range menu, press ENTER button to enter the out of range menu. - Press 2X MENU button to make Out of Range OFF. - Press ENTER button 3 times. After sending the signal, all pagers will light up once to tell you that they received the new code. - Press CANCEL button to exit the system programming menu. Menu #7 = Setting the Transition Page

11 With this feature, you can turn transition page ON/OFF and set the transition timer. At the Transition Page menu, press ENTER button to enter the transition page setting. Press 2X MENU button to toggle Transition Page ON/OFF. If the Transition Page is ON, you can select the Transition Time. Press ENTER button to set Transition Time. Press 2X MENU button to select timer interval. (15 secs, 30 secs, 45 secs, 60 secs, 120 secs available) Press ENTER button to save its setting and exits to Menu Options If the Transition Page is OFF, the Transition Time is not displayed. While Transition Page is OFF and you press #1-24 button, the Transition Time will be fixed 15 secs. Menu #8 = Set Manager Page With this feature, you can set manager pagers to be paged when the servers do not respond to the page. At the Set Manager Page menu, press ENTER button to enter Set Manager Page. Press 2X MENU button to toggle between ON/OFF. Press ENTER button to save its setting and exit to Menu Options.

12 Menu #9 = Set Default MSG With this feature, you can set default message of the pagers. At the Set Default MSG menu, press ENTER button to enter default message setting. Press 2X MENU button to toggle between ON/OFF. Press ENTER button to input TX Default MSG. Maximum 12 numeric numbers are available. Press ENTER button to save TX Default MSG and exit after input its message. If you make Set Default MSG OFF, no message will be sent. Menu #10 = Setting the System Base ID With this feature, you can set System Base ID. At the System Base ID menu, press ENTER button to enter system base ID setting. Input System Base ID among Press ENTER button to save System Base ID and exit to Menu Options. Menu #11 = Setting the Group Call ID

13 With this feature, you can set Group Call ID #1 and Manager (MGR) Group ID #2. At the Group Call ID menu, press ENTER button to enter Group Call ID #1 setting. Input Group Call ID #1 and then press ENTER button. Input MGR Group ID #2. Press ENTER button to save Group Call ID #1 and MGR Group ID #2 and exit to Menu Options. Menu #12 = Setting the Out of Range ID With this feature, you can set Out of Range ID. At the Out Of Range ID menu, press ENTER button to enter out of range ID setting. Input Out of Range ID Press ENTER button to save Out of Range ID and exit to Menu Options. Menu #13 = Set Baud Rate With this feature, you can set Baud Rate. At the Set Baud Rate menu, press ENTER button to enter baud rate setting. Press 2X MENU button to toggle Baud Rate.(512 BPS, 1200 BPS, 2400 BPS available) Press ENTER button to save Baud Rate and exit to Menu Options.

14 Troubleshooting Transmitter will not display anything a. Make sure there is power to the outlet a. Check all connections. If you try all this and the transmitter still won t power up your power supply may be bad. If display is still blank, call us Before you call, try some of the following suggestion *Remember that the capability of your system will be affected by: Foil backed wallboard, Metal mesh, wire reinforced glass, metal sheeting, large mirrors, suspended ceilings, lift shafts etc. These can all reflect and thereby reduce the signaling capability of the transmitter. A little forethought prior to installation, coupled with a few tests, can normally avoid most of these problems. 1.Read through the manual. Answers to most questions can be found there. A trouble shooting section further assists you in diagnosing the problem. 2. IMPORTANT NOTICE: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is

Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected. Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/tv technician for help. The changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user s authority to operate the equipment. To comply with the FCC RF exposure compliance requirements, no change to the antenna or the device is permitted. Any change to the antenna or the device could result in the device exceeding the RF exposure requirements and void user s authority to operate the device. This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) this device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.. Warning: Changes or modifications made to this equipment not expressly approved by Jun Electronics may void the FCC authorization to operate this equipment. 3. CAUTION : Never use any cleaner other than alcohol for the maintenance of this equipment. This warranty does not include damage to the product resulting from accident, misuse or improper electrical connection. Power supplies are warranted for 60 days. We recommend the use of a surge protector with all equipment.
