1 MD Helicopters, Inc. On-line Publications Ordering Applications Guide Welcome. This guide is provided to assist you in placing orders for Technical Publications using the new On-line Publications Order Application.

2 Finding the Application in the MD Helicopters, Inc. web site Click on the PUBLICATIONS tab in the top navigation bar. Click on Pub Orders in the right hand navigation pane.

3 Finding the Application in the MD Helicopters, Inc. web site (Cont.) Click On-line Ordering in the below the third paragraph in the body of the page. New User? Panel First time users will create an account by clicking on the Register link. Returning customer login here. Already have an account? Panel Login with Username and Password. Register here if you are a new customer

4 Using The Catalog Catalogs Panel Determine which category to search (e.g. Maintenance Manual Sets) and expand the category list by clicking the + icon. Click in the sub category titles in the expanded list to view the items available for purchase. All Catalogs Panel Or, you can navigate to the purchase items listings by double clicking the icon representing the category's icons. Expand the list by clicking the + icon. Navigate the expanded list to see the associated items for sale in a collection. Or, Navigate using collections icons by clicking the icon to see the associated items for sale.

5 Using The Catalog (cont.) The catalog panel name will change to indicate the collection selected. For example: In the MD500/600 Series Technical Manuals panel: 1. To open the product for more information double click the product icon. 2. To add the item directly to your order, click on the Add button below the icon picture. Click in the product icon to go to a full description of the product, Or, click the Shopping Cart icon to add it directly to the order

6 Using The Catalog (cont.) Double clicking the product icon in the previous step will take you to the Document Details: panel. Description: Review the description to confirm the item is what you need. A detailed list of items that are part of kits is provided in the Item(s) contained in this kit section of the panel. Add To Order Button The Add To Order button allows you to add the item being viewed to your order. Click Add to Order button to add this item to the order from the description page List of items contained in the selected product

7 Reviewing or Placing an Order Orders Tab Click the Orders tab to review open or previous orders. Order history Panel The order history panel provides a list of Open orders and Previous orders for review. Orders can be reviewed or deleted using the controls on the right side of the orders list. Click Orders or select the order from the dropdown control to review the Order(s). To review an order, click Details. To remove an order from the list, click Cancel.

8 Reviewing or Placing an Order (cont.) If your order has not yet been submitted, the order review page will look like this. It contains three sections: Type of order Recipients Documents There is a button to Update Quantities that recalculates the Estimated costs. There is a Continue button to send the order to the next step.

9 Reviewing or Placing an Order (cont.) Type of order Allows you to name the order for your convenience and clarity Recipients Allows you to: 1. Send the order to multiple people. You can add recipients from this section using the links on the right side of the Recipients title bar using either the Add from address book link or create a New recipient using that link. 2. You can Add yourself to an existing order. 3. You can Add comment that contains special instructions for shipping. You can to name the order for your convenience and clarity

10 Reviewing or Placing an Order (cont.) Documents Identifies the items on the order, quantities and cost. Clicking the Continue button navigates to the payments page. Continue to payments page

11 Reviewing or Placing an Order - Billing On the Billing panel the Bill to: will default to the account holders information. If you wish, you can: 1. Add a different payee from your address book 2. Create a new Billing contact or 3. Add a comment On the Payment information panel you can elect to pay by Electronic Funds Transfer ( EFT ) or by credit card. When the Credit Card option is selected for the first time the panel will expand to show the data fields for purchase by credit card.

12 Reviewing or Placing an Order Billing (cont.) Warning messages appear below the Catalog / Orders tabs. If you enter information and the screen will not advance to the next step, there will typically be an Warning message indicating omission of data or invalid data has been entered. 13 Reviewing or Placing an Order Billing (cont.) Reserved for MD Helicopters and Service Center use. The Discount information panel is used by MD Helicopters Personnel or Service Centers only. When payment information is complete. Click the Continue button to proceed. Continue to place order.

14 Order Confirmation When you finish the Billing data entry and press the Continue button, this confirmation screen will appear. You can print a copy of your order using the Print confirmation button (print this if you need a paper copy invoice). Home Button This button will return you to the on-line Order System home page. Order History Button This button allows you to review order history.
