2 Thanks so much for purchase our MP4 player. Please read this manual carefully before you using this unit. We will not contact individuals with any changes of this player and not responsible for the problems caused by wrong printing. PRECAUTIONS ********************* Please read all instructions and guidelines before starting device. Keep this guide for future reference. Utilization and security guidelines must be respected. Do not put the player in the condition of high temperature, humidity or dust. Do not place the device near a heat source (e.g. radiator) or in high temperature place (over 40 C). Do not expose it to direct sunlight. Do not place on the device any dangerous object such as lit candles. The device must not be used near water and away from moisture. The device must not be exposed to water drops, and never put on it any object containing water. Make sure that no liquid is spilled on device and inside device openings. Do not block the openings of the device. Do not close to strong magnetic field, electric field etc. Move device carefully, and avoid shocks; especially do not shake TFT screen in order to avoid TFT being damaged or displayed abnormally. Never use higher volume, which may damage your hearing ability. Select suitable volume, turn down or stop use when you feel tingle in ears. Battery service lift may be various from different using conditions, manufacturer and manufacturing time. Do not disconnect the player abruptly during the formatting or uploading and downloading, otherwise, it will cause the program error. We will not be responsible for any obligation for any memory loss caused by product damage, repair or other reasons. Please operate correctly as per the manual. 2
3 The player, no matter is powered on or not, once connected with the USB port of started computer, can be charged. Do not dismantle the player personally or use alcohol, thinner or benzene to clean the surface of the player. Do not use the player in the electronics prohibited area, such as in the plane. Do not use the player when driving or walking in order to avoid traffic accidents. This device contains a rechargeable lithium battery, which is not accessible to the user, and therefore not serviceable. Do not expose the battery to excessive heat such as sunlight, fire, radiator or similar sources. Please charge in the following conditions: A. Battery electricity icon displays no electricity. B. Further power on the player when the system is powered off automatically, but it powers off soon. C. No response with the pressing keys. The user shall not try to use the device beyond what is described in this guide, in order not to void the guarantee. BASIC FUNCTION 1. Display: 1.8 inch TFT, 128x160 resolution 2. 5 Charging The machine uses the Li On rechargeable battery. When charging, connect the player with the computer USB port with USB cable included. IMPORTANTE NOTE : TO CHARGE, PUT MP16 BTH BE IN POWER ON STATUS! Turning ON/OFF Press power on/off button at the bottom to turn on and off. Or keep button in on station, Press and hold button to turn on and off. SD card Player lower right side with expansion card slot, support insert TF Card. Connect with PC In power on state, pls use supplied USB cable to connect the PC and the player, PC will be prompted to select the removable disk window. Select the appropriate copy the file Main interface After the boot into the following main interface: 5
6 MUSIC Music main menu Interface Display: Press and button for Up and down, Press button selection Menu, options include: All songs, Artist, Albums, Genres, Playlists, Album art, Audiobooks, Create Playlists. Local folder, Card folder All songs: Show all shuffle and a list of all the songs in memory Artists:In alphabetical order, the names in alphabetical order of the first word in the internal memory of all the songs the singer. Albums: In accordance with the first word phonetic order the album name is displayed. Genres: According to download music display built in style. Create playlist: Create playlist for your favorite song 6
7 Press create playlist and then press and select the song you want create playlist then press and to select Add to playlist. Music play interface button for play music/pause music, or for previous track and next track Music sub menu option 1. Menu options include: Play mode, Sound settings, Add to playlist, Remove from Playlist, Sleep timer, Delete, Bookmarks. 2. Press and select the browse menu. Sub menu (playing) Play mode: Select the playback mode, display Play Music from..., Repeat, 7
8 Shuffle, Repeat settings 1. Selected music from..., display All songs, this artist, this album, this genre, Press and button to browsing menu., Press button Confirm option. If select all songs, will play in the songs catalog. If select Artists, Playing this Artists song catalog, and so on. 2. Select repeat : Display Repeat off, Repeat 1, Repeat all, View Playing. Select repeat off: All the songs in the list to play again then stop playing; Select repeat 1 : Repeat the current track Select repeat all: Repeat all tracks in the current catalogue Select the browse broadcast, each track preview 10 seconds 3. Shuffle : Select off or on to open/close shuffle model Sound settings: Select sound settings display Equalizer,Variable Speed Playback,Volume limit 1. Equalize : display Off, Rock, Funk, Hip hop, Jazz, Classical, Techno, Custom. 8
9 VIDEO To view videos on your walkman, it is necessary for you to compress the videos which you will transfer. With this intention, you must download a video compressor on Internet. 1. After enter into movie you can see the file list interface, press and up and down browsing file. Press select the file,then enter the video player interface. 2. Support breakpoint sowing and background play Menu Options Enter the menu options, including: Local folder and Card folder. Video submenu shown in figure; 1. Brightness: Press and to decrease and increase brightness. 2. Repeat: Press to enter the repeat, display "Repeat Off, Repeat 1, Repeat All" RECORDINGS Press button enter the recording menu options menu options include: Start voice recording, Recordings library, Storage, Record Format, Record 9
10 Settings. Main menu options 1. Start voice recording: Press button enter into the record interface and start to record audio files 2. Recordings library: including local folder and card folder. 3. Storage: including internal memory and external memory 4. Record format: enter the recording format selection MP3 or WAV format, ACT format. 5.Recording settings: Show: "audio bitrate, avr mode, set up the recording scene".audio bitrate can choose wav format: 512 KBPS / 768 KBPS / 1024 KBPS / 1536 KBPS; avr format can chose ordinary mode and avr mode.set the recording scene include normal scene, train scene, meeting scene, long range scene, disable noise cancellation. 10
11 Recording interface Press button to begin/pause/continue recording. Press M button, choose YES/NO to save or not save the current voice. FM RADIO Press and to chose previous radio station and next radio station. then starts to play the selected video. When video broadcasting, the up and down button bar and progress bar will automatically display. PICTURES Press enter in to pictures list. Pictures list: press button into browsing selected photo, press / button browse previou and next picture.. In picture list interface press V button enter into the submenu as the below 11
12 picture; Sub menu item: brightness,backlight timer,,slide show settings, Delete picture, Create Playlist. 1. Backlight timer: 10 seconds /20 seconds /30 seconds / always lit four options available. 2. Slide show settings: enter in to slide show settings,display time per slide, repeat, shuffle, thumbnail ". Each slide time range for the 2s~30s alternative. TOOLS Press button into tool interface, picture as follows; Tool menu include calendar, stopwatch, alarm are available. 1. Calendar 12
13 Press V button can switch year/month/date. Press / button to choose previous file and next file. 2. Stopwatch 3.Alarm Include Alarm on\off, Alarm time, Alarm cycle, Alarm music, Alarm volume SETTING Setting interface is shown as follows 13
14 1. Play mode: include play music from..., repeat, shuffle. 2. Sound settings: equalizer, volume limit, key tone. 3. Sleep timer: off, set sleep timer Display settings: brightness, backlight timer, screensaver. 5. Date and time: time settings, date settings. EBOOK Ebook interface is as follows: 1. Ebook menu include playing setting,delete ebooks,bookmark select,delete bookmark,add bookmark,page select,local folder,card folder. 2. Play setting, set automatically play time internal, range from 2s to 30 s. 3. Press button enter into interface of ebook file list. 4. Press button open Ebook file, show current pages and total pages of this file. Press and key to change page.in the process of the e book browsing, press key can switch between the manual pages and 14
