3 File list contains in the Release ZIP file: File name: V210AAOX0C0.bin Purpose: This binary firmware image file is for normal system update. Note: The firmware update may take five or more minutes depending on the scale of device configuration. The more complex configuration will take more update time. Do not turn off or reset the device while the firmware update is in progress. File name: V210AAOX0C0.pdf Purpose: This release file. File name: V210AAOX0C0.MIB Purpose: The MIBs are to collect information on device. The focus of the MIBs is to let administrators collect statistical data and monitor status and performance. Read Me First 1. The system default configuration is summarized as below: The default device administration username is admin, password is The default LAN interface is LAN, The default IP address of lan is / If user upgrades from previous released firmware to this version, there is no need to restore to system default configuration. 3. If there is difficult to configure via GUI (popup java script error, etc). It is recommended to logout the configuration window and clear browser cache first, then try to login and configure again. 3/6

4 Known Issue: 1. When webpages upgrade firmware image, sometimes it will cause damaged configuration file. 2. [Spec issue] Users will not be able to select channel when wireless interface is disabled. 3. [Spec issue] The log should not be cleared after AP reboot. 4. [Spec issue] When device operating in client mode, LAN port device will not get IP address when the DHCP server uses unicast. 5. When 802.1Q is enabled and set as native VLAN, the secure access control feature does not work. 4/6

VLAN on/off switch in SSID profile. 5. Remove MCS rate selection in advance setting. 6. The new increase in client mode SSID profile. C. Bug Fixes 1. Invalid file is acceptable in firmware upgrade. It may damage AP and make AP cannot boot up successfully. 2. Can't upgrade AP firmware through NAT. 3. Some 5G channels cannot be set in some channel bandwidth and will cause device to use the default channel. 4. LAN was set to wrong subnet mask after reconfigure network settings when getting address from DHCP server. 5. Time for sending log field does not accept values with leading zero. 6. ZON Utility cannot access device when device has IPv6 enabled and reboot. 5/6

6 Appendix 1 - Firmware upgrade procedure The following is the firmware upgrade procedure: 1. If user did not backup the configuration file before firmware upgrade, please follow the procedures below: Use Browser to login into device as administrator. Click Maintenance > Configuration File > Backup to save the current configuration file (config.cfg) of your system to your computer. Find firmware at in a file that (usually) uses the system model name with the.bin extension, for example, V210AAOX0C0.bin. Click Maintenance > Firmware Upgrade to open the Firmware Package screen. Browser to the location of firmware package and then click Upload. The device automatically reboots after a successful upload. After several minutes, the system is successfully upgraded to newest version. 6/6
