2 TSG-C Meeting Summary 05 April 2007 C R Page 2 of On 05 April 2007, an Interim Plenary Conference Call was held. This document is intended to summarize those proceedings. OPENING PLENARY. CALL TO ORDER AND OPENING REMARKS: The meeting was called to order on 05 April 2007 at 8:05 PM US east coast time by TSG-C Chair, Dennis Gentzler (ALLTEL). The Chair noted that the objective of this meeting is the approval for publication of C.P0084 UMB Air Interface specification. The Chair also congratulated Ke-Chi Chang (Nortel Networks) on the birth of his new baby boy. 2. ATTENDANCE REGISTRATION AND ROLL CALL: A roll call of companies indicated that 8 companies included on the list of 34 active quorum members were present (53% participation). Thus, meeting quorum was achieved. The Secretary noted that no proxy statements had been received for this meeting. 3. INTRODUCTION AND NUMBERING OF CONTRIBUTIONS: Contributions were loaded onto the 3GPP2 ftp server and listed in the document register (C R). 4. AGENDA APPROVAL: The proposed agenda (C R) was presented. DECISION: The agenda was approved without objection as modified (C ). 5. ASSIGNMENTS OF CONTRIBUTIONS TO AGENDA ITEMS: Contributions were assigned to agenda items as noted on the agenda. 6. OLD BUSINESS: The following contributions were discussed: Proposed correspondence to TSG-S regarding 3GPP2 Workplan Update (C ) was presented from WG5. DECISION: This contribution was approved without objection for transmission. C.P Upper Layers UMB Air Interface Specification (C ) were presented by WG2 including the following volumes: C.S Overview for Ultra Mobile Broadband (UMB ) Air C.S MAC Layer for Ultra Mobile Broadband (UMB ) Air C.S Radio Link Layer for Ultra Mobile Broadband (UMB ) Air

C.P Physical Layer UMB Air Interface Specification (C ) was presented by WG3. DECISION: This contribution was approved without objection for publication as C.S v.0. The Chair expressed the thanks of the TSG to the WG2 and WG3 participants for their diligence and hard work in completing the release of C.S v.0 for publication. 7.
