Moacdieh Executive Director Federal Regulatory Affairs Verizon Communications 1300 I Street, NW, Suite 400 West Washington, DC Implementation Date: On or after June 29, 2016 Planned Network Change(s) Will Occur at the Verizon central office area: Locations Retirement of copper network facilities in the areas listed in Exhibit A Verizon Central Office, NY NYCRNYSS Description of the Planned Network Change(s): The property owner associated with an expiring easement is requiring Verizon to remove a remote terminal on the owner s property, which requires Verizon to move a number of impacted copper cables in the, NY central office. In connection with that move, Verizon is replacing those copper facilities with fiber facilities and retiring a number of copper facilities serving the locations listed on the attached Exhibit A. Verizon has deployed its fiber-to-the-home network in these locations and will continue to provide services over a fiber network infrastructure. Description of reasonably foreseeable impact(s) of the planned change(s): After the retirement of the copper facilities, Verizon will: (1) no longer offer services over copper facilities; and (2) cease maintaining the copper facilities. However, to the extent required by applicable agreements and federal law, Verizon will offer to requesting carriers a 64 Kbps voice-grade channel.
