Reading device (Andrid phne with installed app Radi Reader) needs t be paired with via Bluetth with the reading unit RFU Installatin f Radi Reader app 1. Dwnlad the Radi Reader 2. Click Install 3. Yur phne will pint yu t Settings t allw yu t install applicatins frm unknwn surces 4. When yu start the app fr the first time, the phne asks yu t allw lcatins, permissin t access files n the device, and Bluetth authrizatin - select Allw 2.2. Preparatin f readings 1. A flder called RFU 40 is created in yur phne 2. A flder RFU cntains 3 subflders: a. BP please insert Base f the plan here (files BPH a BPL) The Base f the plan is an ptinal t the Reading plan. The Base shws the lcatin f the meters in the building (fr example City / Street / Huse / Flr / Flat / Rm). If the base is used, the lcatin f the indicatrs accrding t the selected structure will be displayed under the serial number f the meter. Hint: Fr a cmfrtable use f the Plan, we recmmend that yu create a cmmn base fr all used Plans, s there is n need t terminate the applicatin after reading the individual bjects and cpy new bases. With Plan Creatr, yu can create any number f Schedules with ne cmmn base (the prgram als allws yu t imprt a base frm CSV - a text file with delimiters) Twn Street Huse number Flr Occupier Rm b. 6 c. Plans flder fr inserting reading plans. Reading plans are basically a list f serial numbers f meters in a particular bject and help track the prgress f readings. Yu can use Plan Creatr t create Plans and Bases f the plans. 6

7 2.3. Perfrming Readings - Prcedure 1) Switch n the reading unit RFU 40 with the ON /OFF n the tp part f the unit. 2) Switch n Bluetth in yur phne 3) Start the Radi Reader app 4) In the Menu, select Select device, a list f available RFUs 40 appears, click the selected drive t pair it with the applicatin 5) Click n Select Plan, a list f plans appears (the plans must be cpied in the RFU 40 / Plans flder.) Readings can als be made withut a Plan. If yu have a larger number f Plans stred in yur flder, yu can use Filter t search fr desired Plan in yur applicatin - start typing and the filter will shw the schedules surrunding the text yu entered. T begin reading the data, click Start Reading. The individual plan levels are marked with clrs indicating the readut status: Unread - transparent (n clr) All read - green Only sme read - yellw Once all meters are frm the plan are received, it is pssible t end the reading r mve t anther bject. If sme f the meters included in the plan are laded befre the plan is selected (fr example, when reading a previus building), it will appear as read. The memry is emptied by ending the prgram (Menu - Exit). Yu can pause / stp reading by clicking Stp Reading. When yu re-start the reading, the applicatin asks if yu want t create a new utput file. If yu chse NO, the applicatin will cntinue writing t the last file. 6) Select Exit in the Menu t clse the applicatin and create a RFU with a readut in the Data flder. 7
