When pluging in the USB dongle to the xlobby cube for the first time it is normal for the red signal L.E.D to illuminate and stay on steady for 10 seconds. If the remote is working correctly, the red L.E.D. will illuminate when pressing buttons on the remote. Special Button features During Movie playback in full screen the menu navigation right button becomes (Next Chapter), the left navigation button becomes (Previous Chapter), the OK button becomes (Play-Pause). During Music playback from the main menu screen the menu navigation right button becomes (Next Track), the left navigation button becomes (Previous Track), the OK button becomes (Play-Pause). 9 CALAD ELECTONICS Cooling and Ventilation: The xlobby Cube requires proper ventilation to work correctly. Lack of cooling and ventilation may cause the unit to malfunction or fail. Please keep this in mind when choosing where to place the xlobby Cube. Poorly ventilated closets or racks with other equipment and no fans or cooling should be avoided. Warning: The xlobby Cube is a powerful and sophisticated software suite that makes full use of the resources of the xlobby Cube PC. Be aware that some Antivirus and Anti Spy ware programs may interfere with some functions of the xlobby Cube. Calrad and xlobby cannot be held responsible for failures and issues arising from installation of other programs on the xlobby Cube. The xlobby Cube does not require Antivirus or Anti Spy ware for their intended purpose. They may slow down performance and effect content playback. Disclaimer: Calrad cannot be held responsible for wiring and cable errors. Abuse and use outside the regular operation of the xlobby Cube s hardware are the responsibility of the user. Please remember to supply the xlobby Cube unit with proper A.C. and Internet line filters for protection. DVD Importing Legalities: etail movie DVDs purchased from a store will have some sort of content protection scheme. The xlobby cube IS NOT capable of playing or importing protected DVDs. We have decided to avoid the possible legal implications by NOT shipping any decryption software. Due to the different laws in various countries we cannot ship or sell machines with the DVD decryption software necessary to import these types of DVDs. It is up to the end user to check with his/her local laws before purchasing the 3rd party decryption software (such as DVDFab) required to import encrypted DVDs. If it is legal in your country of residence to import your DVDs onto other playback devices such as the xlobby cube (again check your local laws), we recommend using the 3rd party decryption software called "DVDFab". DVDFab has been available online for over 7 years now, and is constantly being updated. Use google to find their websites and install the software. Finally just to be clear, we cannot and do not provide decryption tools. We also DO NOT condone the use of such tools in countries where this activity is against the law. Please respect and follow your local laws. Warranty: Calrad Electronics warrants that all xlobby Cube manufactured equipment will be free of any defect in materials or workmanship for the period of (1) year. Warranty begins from the date of shipment from Calrad Electronics. The warranty is extended to customers and applies to all Calrad Electronics manufactured equipment purchased, installed, and used for the purpose for which such equipment was originally designed. The above warranties cover only defects arising under normal use and do not include malfunctions or failures resulting from misuse, abuse, neglect, alteration, problems with electrical power, usage not in accordance with product instructions, acts of nature, or improper installation or repairs made by anyone other than Calrad Electronics. Calrad Electronics reserves the right to substitute functionally equivalent new or serviceable used parts for warranty repairs. Page 9
