1 Verizn Mbile Device Enrllment Instructins & Candidate Infrmatin Frm Samsung KNOX Mbile Enrllment (KME) This dcument prvides instructins and enrllment infrmatin abut the Verizn Mbile Devices Enrllment (VMDE) prgram with Samsung KNOX Mbile Enrllment (KME). This VMDE prgram is fr eligible Samsung devices PURCHASED FROM Verizn, including certain previusly purchased Samsung devices. Prvided the enrllment frm is cmplete and includes the KNOX prtal screensht, the enrllment will be prcessed in 2-3 business days. Wh Des What Result Custmer Enrlls in Samsung KNOX Prgram at: This prcess may take up t 24 hurs t cmplete. Cntact Samsung fr additinal supprt. x. cm/en/slutins/mbileenrllmen t See Appendix 1 fr supprt infrmatin. Custmer / Verizn Sales Representative Verizn B2B Sales Operatins 8 AM 5 PM ET Mnday - Friday Custmer / Verizn Sales Representative Adds Verizn s KME reseller ID int the Samsung KME prtal t identify Verizn as a reseller. This des nt initiate autmatic device enrllment with Verizn. The Verizn reseller ID is nt yur KME Custmer ID. This enrllment prcess is als fr the KNOX Cnfigure prgram. Cmpletes the frm belw t enrll in Verizn MDE prgram Sends the cmpleted frm and screensht t VZWSamsungDeviceEnrllments@VeriznWireless.cm. Must include: A screensht f custmer s Samsung KME prtal. (See page 2 fr example). Must shw a legible Custmer ID and Verizn as a reseller. All ECPD and/r Accunt #(s) If this is a new custmer and an accunt isn t established yet, cntact Verizn custmer service t create a shell accunt. Custmers are enrlled at the PROFILE level. ALL accunts and subaccunts are enrlled. Cnnects the custmer s Verizn Accunt(s) and KME prtal. Upn enrllment, the custmer will receive and cnfirmatin f enrllment. Prvides a list f previusly purchased Samsung devices when available. Verizn can nly send devices purchased frm Verizn t the custmer s prtal. The list might nt be cmplete. Reviews list f previusly purchased devices sent by Verizn and returns the list t send devices t the prtal. If eligible devices purchased frm Verizn are missing frm the list, add this infrmatin: Lcatin cde, ACE rder number, IMEI, Order Date. Must be restred t factry settings t activate MDM. A test device may be sent befre fully enrlling. N dem devices. Send all new accunts t the Verizn Samsung mailbx t cnnect with the prtal. Custmer shuld be made aware f their respnsibility regarding Samsung KME T&Cs. Enrllment means that all eligible Samsung devices purchased under the ECPD Prfile ID(s) indicated will be sent t custmers Samsung KME prtal. Qualified new devices will be sent t the prtal autmatically. Custmer receives s frm Samsung when devices are sent t the Samsung KME prtal.
2 A screensht f the custmer s KME prtal MUST accmpany the Candidate Infrmatin Frm t cmplete enrllment int the Verizn MDE prgram. A custmer will nt be enrlled int the VMDE prgram withut a screensht shwing Verizn as a listed reseller. NO Exceptins If yu can t see the Resellers tab, click the Samsung KNOX lg t g t the KME prtal dashbard. ** MUST shw Verizn/ Verizn Wireless as a reseller & the Knx Custmer ID. **
3 Verizn Mbile Device Enrllment Candidate Infrmatin Frm Samsung KNOX Mbile Enrllment (KME) Prgram Return cmpleted frm and screensht t VZWSamsungDeviceEnrllments@VeriznWireless.cm. This enrllment frm is nt fr Samsung fr Business r KNOX Custmizatin. Verizn KNOX Reseller ID (This is nt the DEP Custmer ID) KNOX Custmer ID This can be fund n the Resellers screen in the KME prtal. This is nly available after the custmer has been apprved fr the prtal. STOP: ENTER the KME Prtal Custmer ID# - MUST PROVIDE A COMPLETED SCREENSHOT AS SEEN ON PAGE 2. Enter additinal Device Enrllment prgram Custmer IDs (i.e., DEP/Zer-Tuch, riginal/replacement prtal), if applicable. Prviding the Samsung KNOX Custmer ID authrizes Verizn the use f the custmer s infrmatin cntained herein and the required device infrmatin t be shared with Samsung fr the purpse f enrlling devices int the Samsung KME prgram. Custmer Cntact Inf: Custmer Name: MUST be here. Prvide details if different frm ECPD prfile. Custmer Cntact Name: Custmer Cntact / Telephne: Custmer Address: City / State/ ZIP: MUST be here. Prvide details if different frm ECPD address. Verizn Representative Inf: Name: / Phne: GEA, if applicable: ECPD / Accunt Inf: ECPD Prfile ID # Indicate ALL ECPD Prfile IDs t be Samsung KME-enabled r have histrical Samsung devices. If an ECPD is entered, ensure that at least ne accunt has been created t link t the KNOX prtal. Custmer ID Accunt number(s) All accunt numbers are enrlled. All subaccunts are enrlled. A shell accunt must be created if there is n accunt set up yet. This can be fund n the Verizn mnthly invice. Prvide Verizn with any new accunt numbers as they re added. Special Instructins: At least ne accunt number must be established t cmplete enrllment. If this is a NEW prfile, cntact custmer service ( ) t set up a shell accunt.
4 Appendix 1: Managing the Samsung KME / Verizn MDE Prgram After enrllment, eligible Samsung devices purchased frm Verizn via DFILL are sent t a custmer s KNOX prtal. Only devices purchased frm a Verizn business accunt can be sent t the prtal by Verizn. Verizn des nt take respnsibility fr mitted infrmatin, missing accunts, r lgin infrmatin t the Samsung KNOX prtal and can nly prvide general situatinal practices. Send ALL requests and questins t VZWSamsungDeviceEnrllments@VeriznWireless.cm and reference the KME Custmer ID & Name. The Custmer ID can be fund in the Samsung KME prtal under the Reseller s tab. Warranty Devices are sent t the Samsung KME prtal directly. Return defective devices as usual. These must be remved frm the prtal manually. When devices are sent t the prtal, the custmer registered in the KME prtal will receive a ntificatin frm Samsung when they are available in the KME prtal. Samsung has a 24-hur service level agreement t send them t the prtal. Errr ntificatins are nt sent. Issues that culd impact new devices ging int the prtal. In this case send infrmatin needed t send t the prtal manually. Accunt purchased frm isn t enrlled. Send new accunt infrmatin t mailbx. Cld stck / purchased withut service. Device surcing issues. Fraud alert r credit hld placed n rder. Please dwnlad a reprt frm the KME prtal t check if a device is in the prtal prir t submitting a request t send it t the prtal. This can be fund frm the device dashbard in KME. Device status infrmatin: Devices that are nt eligible t be enrlled are, but nt limited t: Suspended MDNs that are nt activated in the same prfile, as identified as participating in the DEP prgram. Devices that have service under an MDN that has undergne an Assumptin f Liability (persnal t crprate). Devices purchased by the cnsumer nt under the crprate accunt. e.g., purchased directly frm a retail stre inventry and nt credited t a CLEU accunt. Devices that were nce persnal devices (BYOD). Purchased frm a reseller ther than Verizn (Best Buy, CDW, etc.). Nn-Verizn-replaced warranty replacements, such as Asurin. Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) devices. Dem devices frm Vienna Channels r ther channels. At the discretin f Samsung and/r Verizn. Device remval: Devices returned thrugh Verizn s Wrry-Free Guarantee prgram will be remved frm the prtal autmatically. Defective devices returned t Verizn are nt remved frm the prtal autmatically and must be remved frm the prtal manually. There culd be ther returns that aren t autmatically remved. When this ccurs, the custmer shuld either manually remve thse devices r ntify Verizn with that infrmatin s we can remve them. It is the custmer s respnsibility t remve devices nt in the custmer s pssessin frm the prtal. VMDE Appendix 2 VMDE Previusly Purchased Devices Eligible devices purchased frm Verizn prir t VMDE enrllment can be sent t a custmer s MDE prtal. Only devices purchased frm a Verizn business accunt can be sent t the prtal by Verizn. Verizn sends a list f devices purchased frm Verizn fr review at the time f enrllment, when available. The custmer selects devices t enrll frm the file prvided and must return the same file t VZWSamsungDeviceEnrllments@VeriznWireless.cm. This list might nt be cmplete. This list MUST be returned t the mailbx t have devices upladed. It can take 3-5 business days t send devices t the prtal.
5 Shws ONLY devices purchased under the custmer s Verizn ECPD prfile that is prvided. Prvide all related prfiles n enrllment that might have histrical devices n them. Culd cntain devices that might nt currently be in the custmer s pssessin. It is the custmer s respnsibility t remve devices frm the prtal that are n lnger in their pssessin. Might cntain duplicate mbile numbers due t upgraded/replaced equipment. Samsung requires the IMEI/Device ID t be sent t the prtal. This is unique t each device. Has infrmatin that might nt match the custmer s list due t IMEI/MEID translatin r due t changes in inventry. Sme devices that are nt eligible t be enrlled are, but nt limited t (this als applies t all new purchases): Suspended MDNs that are nt activated in the same prfile, as identified as participating in the DEP prgram. Devices that have service under an MDN that has undergne an Assumptin f Liability (persnal t crprate). Devices purchased by the cnsumer nt under the crprate accunt. e.g., purchased directly frm a retail stre inventry and nt credited t a CLEU accunt. Devices that were nce persnal devices (BYOD). Turning the device ff and n r pushing ut a sftware update will nt redirect the device t the MDM servers t engage the prfile. This is a manual prcess. Devices must be in the custmer/user s pssessin n the date the request is made. The custmer is respnsible fr remving devices frm the prtal that are nt in their pssessin.
