Podcasts, short for Personal On Demand Broadcast, is defined in the New Oxford American Dictionary as a digital recording of a radio broadcast or similar program, made available on the Internet for downloading to a personal audio player. A Podcast is typically an mp3 file. Each separate podcast is typically referred to as an episode. Headphones - better than speakers to hear every nuance of your podcast 7. Microphone - the better your microphone, the better the quality of your podcast 8. Audacity software (free download) and LAME MP3 encoder (free download) and/or, Camtasia software (available through HCC) Podcasting is a Seven Step Process 1.
