2 A/V IN THE CLASSROOM Traditional classroom setups included a few devices for visual aid equipment which was often shared between classrooms. Overhead projectors were used as a low cost means of transmitting notes or graphs from a sheet of transparent material. Film strip projectors with audio tapes for the sound track were used for educational films. Chalk and marker boards were used for the instructor to write notes for the students to follow along. USB Extension Solutions When USB originated, it was meant as a replacement to the confusing and somewhat slow connection types like parallel, serial, and SCSI.
