Purpose of the document The document describes the differences of the CLS licensing process between this product (feature) and the standard process of HiPath License Management (see document License Guidelines). 2. Product Information 2.1. General a) Exactly one base package is required for each system. First Licensing At least the licenses of a base features must be activated. 6

7 4. Add-On Licensing Nothing special 5. Rehost Nothing special 6. Shift Partial shift is not possible. 7. License Transfer Observe the feature content of the base packages when doing transfer. For license activation one complete base package is required. 8. Upgrade 8.1. HHSC V2 HHSC V2R5 There exists a free upgrade within product HHSC V2. It is possible to upgrade some V2 base features to V2R5 base features. All other features are not affected of this upgrade. The MAC address cannot be changed during the upgrade process.
