It is targeted at end-users with mild to moderate and ski-slope hearing losses. Fully programmable digital hearing instrument. Programming connection: CS 6 mini-din programming cable, using -terminal fl ex strip to connect to the instrument. One microphone directional sound processing. -band WDRC compression system using Warplll Active feedback suppression. Unique open canal fitting design featuring a selection of domes and tubes allowing for quick in-offi ce fi tting. 16 How to separate the instrument Back microphone fi lter Front microphone fi lter Battery door 2 pins Push the pins slightly out from one side with a pin tool p/n and pull them out using e.g. a pair of tweezers. Take out the battery door and the microphone fi lters. Note: Filters must to be exchanged every time. Make sure the receiver is well fi tted. Brush EGC-700 coating to the solder points. Let dry for 5 sec. and brush once more. Page 20 of
21 Frame assembly 2 Insert sound outlet (p/n ). Push until click-stop. Ensure that the fl at side of the sound outlet is correctly aligned with the frame. Wire green mm p/n Insert negative battery spring. Guide the wire carefully through the hole in the frame and press the spring into place. Page 2 of
22 Coating instructions amplifier Molykote Add molykote in the area indicated by dotted lines. Molykote Cover the pins of the contact module at the solder points. Press it under the contact pins to ensure good protection. Molykote Molykote Fill the holes at the battery solder points with Molykote FS 292 p/n Wipe the surplus Molykote off to prevent soiling of the housing at fi nal assembly. Page 22 of
23 How to place filters - front and back Remove the old filter by turning the tool upside down - turn it approx. 0 0 and pull Front filters This end to be used when removing the old filter. Line up max. 4 instruments into the front fi lter box (p/n 5690x) Turn the filter box with the instruments in an upright position. Press the filters into the instruments one after the other, using the pin from the box.(same pin as from the back filter box) Back filters Press the filters into the instruments one after the other, using the pin from the box. For binaural fi ttings, repeat the measurement on the left ear (there can be a difference in ear sizes, hence the tube lengths). To put the dome onto the sound tube, push the dome as far onto the sound tube as possible. It should touch the plastic ring. Page 27 of
