1 Warranty Information The manufacturer warrants their products to be free from defects in material or workmanship for a period of one year from the date of the original purpose. The limited warranty stated above is subject to these terms and conditions. TERMS AND CONDITIONS Limitation on Warranties: All merchandise carries a one (1) Year Manufacturer s Limited Warranty on parts and labor. SELLER MAKES NO WARRANTY, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUD- ING ANY WARRANTY OR FITNESS FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR MERCHANTABILITY. No agent, employee or representative of Seller s are authorized to bind the Seller to any affirmation, representation, or warranty, oral or written, unless by separate written instrument designed by Seller, which by its terms state that it is included as part of this agreement. Claims: Receipt of goods shall be deemed acceptance of the goods received. All claims for defective goods or revocation of acceptances, for shortages, for delays, or failures in shipment or delivery, or for any cause shall be deemed waived and released by the Buyer unless it is made in writing within (7) days after receipt of goods. All claims must state specifically and in reasonable detail the nature of all objections, and must be accompanied by delivery receipt or photocopy of the sales order or packing slip. Any delivery not placed in dispute in a timely manner shall be paid for by the Buyer and all uncontested amounts due shall be paid by the Buyer with terms specified. As a condition to making a claim for missing or damaged goods sent, the Customer is responsible for initiating and pursuing with the carrier. Limitation on Seller s Liability: Seller s liability will be limited to replacement or repair of defective goods upon receipt of goods in a timely manner per paragraph two herein. In no event will Seller be liable for consequential or special damages or for transportation, installation, removal, adjustment or other expenses or losses which may arise in connection with the use or installation of the goods; late delivery, failure to deliver or from any other cause. Not withstanding the terms of this Agreement, if there should arise any liability of Seller, such liability shall be limited to an amount equal to one-half (1/2) the costs of the goods or $250.00, whichever is less. Returned Material: In no case will the seller give a refund. Seller will accept most goods for exchange or credit, at the Seller s discretion within 30 days of purchase date. In no case are goods to be returned without first obtaining Seller s permission. Only unused goods as currently manufactured, in original unopened packaging and which has been paid for by Buyer in accordance with Seller s payment terms will be considered for exchange or credit upon receipt of proof of purchase. Special ordered items and obsolete items cannot be returned for credit. Material accepted for credit will be subject to a 15% restocking charge for service and handling. Seller will not be obliged to replace any product that has been abused, improperly installed or otherwise misused. Items must be returned in their original packaging, securely packed to reach the Seller without damage. Governing Law: This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee. IT IS THE USER S RESPONSIBILITY TO ENSURE THAT THIS EQUIPMENT IS USED IN ACCOR- DANCE WITH THE LAW(S) OF THE JURISDICTION IN WHICH THIS EQUIPMENT IS UTILIZED. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO RETURN PRODUCT TO ORIGINAL MANUFACTURER, AS THIS PRODUCT HAS BEEN MODIFIED AND IS NO LONGER SUBJECT TO ORIGINAL MANUFACTURER S WAR- RANTY. Notes: StealthCamTM is an all-in-one DVR and hidden camera Using our new stealth recording technology eliminates the need for additional recording equipment. Sporting Mpeg4, 30fps, Motion detection, and Time & Date stamp, it records directly to an included SD card for storage and easy playback on your PC Upon reading through these instructions, you will be able to operate your state-of-the-art StealthCamTM DVD Player Camera even if you have never before used a covert video surveillance system. NOTICE: In accordance with United States Codes, this unit is not equipped with audio capabilities. It is illegal for non-authorized persons to own, possess, or utilize surreptitious listening devices for the purpose of intercepting and/or recording another person s oral communications. Any modifications made to this unit are unauthorized and will immediately void the manufacturer s warranty. 2 11
3 Safety Precautions and Notes Use only the included power supply to operate your Stealth CamTM system (110 Volt ONLY). To avoid electrical shock, do not attempt to open the unit. Opening the unit Voids the warranty To prevent fire or shock hazard, do not expose this product to rain or moisture. Do not operate near bath tub, sink, or swimming pool. Avoid operation in moist environments. Do not overload electrical outlets or extension cords as this may result in fire or electric shock, this unit works only on 110 Volt, Using on a 220 Volt with out a converter will damage the unit and void the warranty. Continuous recording you may record continuously without using motion this function would use more memory then the motion activation setting please refer to Capacity chart JPG recording you may record still images instead of video clips for more storage capacity. Storage: the unit is set to default to overwrite video when card is full using the first in first out rule: you may change the overwrite function by choosing disable overwrite from the storage menu. You may also delete all files from the delete all functions. Records real-time video 30 FPS Playback on your TV by using the RCA output or Windows Media player using the enclose card reader or using your SD reader slot on your computer File Search files by date or time External Trigger this feature is inactive for this application please note do not change setting from disable if change unit will not work properly Power Loss Menu setting saved upon power lost for up to 3 days allowing you to move the unit freely and easily to the desired location after you have setup and verified you video requirements 10 3
4 Note: System, Indicator lights and SD card slot are located on the back of the DVD player. Remote for DVR Board must be pointed close to the back of the DVD player near the SD card slot in order for the remote for your stealth cam to work. See diagram below The stealth cam will operate on an SD card up 4GB HD (high def) cards will not work in the unit. The DVD player and Stealth Cam remotes are 2 different remotes and one will not control the other. Trouble shooting 1. Why doesn t the setting complete? After setting, you have to press Enter to confirm the setting. 2. When I playback the recording on Windows Media Player, why is there no Time/Date stamp? The Time/Date stamp doesn t show on MP, but shows normally on the StealthCamTM 3. Why does it show NO FILE when I browse the recording? You might be in the first page or last page, please press for next file or for previous file. 4. Remote does not seem to work. The remote must be held close to the unit and pointed at the back of the unit, where ever the diagram shows the remote sensor to be. (no further than 2 feet) The remote sensor is inside and will not function like a TV/VCR remote. See diagram on page 4 5. No recordings. Be sure that the secure digital card is inserted into the slot. 6.Can I turn the indicator lights off? How to Playback Record Snap CARD/NO CARD SD card status Play Pause NTSC/PAL NTSC/PAL FULL SD card full Make sure the SD card slides in and out with ease, locks and unlocks correctly in the SD slot. The stealth cam can operate on an SD card up 4GB and HD (high def) cards will not work in the unit. Be sure the board is getting power, the red and green lights will illuminate. The stealth cam can operate on an SD card up 4GB HD (high def) cards will not work in the unit. Press Playback on remote control to browse the recording files, then press Playback button to play the selected file. You can also insert the SD card into your PC and playback files on Windows Media Player. 4 9

Set Up of the StealthCam TM Take out the StealthCam TM out of the box and plug in AC adapter into into any available wall outlet. Check that the StealthCam TM turns on. Look on the back of the StealthCam TM for a red light indicator to be on (see diagram on pg 4). Locate the Video-Out Jack which is on the back panel of the DVD Player Locate the Video Cable and plug into the Video-Out Jack. Connect the other end of the Video-Out Cable to a compatible Monitor or direct to a Television. Change the video input or auxiliary input you re your monitor or TV. The input select button is usually located on the units remote control or on the front panel of the unit itself, however, some units may require you to select the video input from the on-screen menu. Therefore, consult the owner s manual for your monitor or TV for specific instructions. Verify that you have an image or picture on your Television or Monitor. If not, check to be sure you have the Video-Out Cable plugged into the correct video-in jack on your Television, VCR or Monitor and you have the correct input selected. Insert the SD card into the slot on the back right side of the DVD player. When you have a picture on your Television or Monitor; using the remote enclosed with your StealthCam TM find the Menu button. See remote control diagram and Functions on this page. Note: Recording depends on how much image/video is being captured 8 5
6 After pressing the Menu button begin by setting the Time and Date. Referencing the set-up instructions go through and confirm all of the settings. After pressing the menu button the lights (red & green) will go off. You are ready to position your Stealth Cam TM so that the internal camera will capture the area you want to monitor. First disconnect the StealthCam TM from your television or Monitor and then place the StealthCam TM in the desired location. To begin the recording process first insert an SD Card (one has been enclosed to get you started) into the slot in the back of the DVD player. Using the remote press the Record button. Hint: to confirm that the Stealth- Cam TM is recording properly allow the record process to run for 5 minutes and then reconnect the Stealthcam TM to your television, press the Menu button on the remote, scroll down to Playback Search and review the recording. If all is working properly, disconnect from your television, re-position the StealthCam TM and start the record operation.. StealthCamTM Function Tree SYSTEM SETUP DATE TIME YYYY/MM/DD HH:MM:SS DISPLAY ON OFF STORAGE OVERWRITE DISABLE ENABLE DELETE ALL NO YES SESITIVITY MOTION TRIGGER HIGH NORMAL LOW DISABLE JPG VIDEO EXTERNAL TRIGGER (DISABLE) FILE SEARCH YYYY/MM/DD HH:MM:SS How to use the enclosed SD card reader Be sure the StealthCam TM is turned off before you remove the SD (Secure Digital) card from the back of the. See diagram on page 4. Remove the card by pushing in on the card once and the card will eject out of the slot. After removing the card from the StealthCam TM insert the card directly into your computer if you have an SD readable card slot. If not use the supplied card reader, simply insert the card into the reader and insert the reader USB end into your computer. If your USB slots are not easily accessible, use the provided USB cable. The Video will show up on your computer using Window Media Player. SD Card reader SD Card USB Cable Note: the StealthCam TM is equipped with a power lose memory so you can easily move your system from one place or another with out losing any of the setup. After three days of power lows the system will go back to the default settings you will then have to follow the setup instructions again. Note: Do not remove the secure digital card from StealthCam TM the or the computer while it is in use. Doing this will cause data on the card to be lost 6 7
