6 New Homepage Your new 8 touch screen monitor will now look like this, using the new SYNC 3 look. Using the new on screen icons you can navigate through the factory entertainment, Interfaces sources and the vehicles climate control by using your new 8 Touch Screen Display. 3

7 Audio Pressing the Audio Icon on the touch screen will access the media sources: MP3 Video CD Radio HDMI AUX 4

8 MP3 To use the MP3 Source: Download MP3 Music onto a USB stick. Plug the USB Stick into the interfaces supplied USB input. Selecting Playlist will access the USB Files. Select the MP3 you want to listen to and the interface will automatically start playing your song. Using the onscreen icons to navigate songs/play/pause/repeat/shuffle 5

9 Video To use the Video Source: Download Movies/Videos onto a USB stick. Plug the USB Stick into the interfaces supplied USB input. Selecting Playlist will access the USB Files. Select the Movie/Video you want to watch and the interface will automatically start playing your movie/video. 6

10 CD/Radio To use the CD or Radio Source: Inserting a CD into the factory CD player will cause the CD to play automatically. Selecting AM/FM access the factory Radio. Using the onscreen arrows navigate songs on CD and radio stations on AM/FM Press and hold the presets to save your favorite stations 7

11 HDMI Your interface now offers you an HDMI input that you can use to view your compatible* smart phone s screen or any other device with an HDMI output on your your factory entertainment systems display. This input DOES NOT offer control of the connected device, only the mirroring of the video and audio are accessible. FMVSS and local laws do not allow the viewing of video by a driver or in a position the driver may view while the vehicle is in motion. Therefore we recommend that this function is used only for view applications such as navigation from your phone while driving. Driver safety is always a first priority. NOTE: You're phone or other device may require a special adaptor to view HDMI. Contact your Phone dealer for more info. 1080P, 720P, and 480P are supported Video: Once your device is connected, touch the video button to start viewing. To exit the video page, touch the screen to reveal the return icon, or press BACK or HOME on the factory radio controls 8

12 AUX Input To use the AUX Source: Plug your video/audio device into the Aux in from the interface. Press the AUX icon. Your video/audio will begin to play automatically. **This input offers no one screen controls for the source** 9

13 Climate Control Your new 8 touch screen will display your climate controls status, as well as give you the option to control your vehicles climate control system using the icons on the touch screen. ** Your factory climate controls will still work the system** 10

14 Bluetooth The 8 screen upgrade now offers you on screen controls for the factory Bluetooth. To use the Bluetooth: Your 8 upgrade retains all the factory SYNC and radio features. For bluetooth pairing and features see the factory User Manual To access the Bluetooth source press the onscreen Bluetooth icon. 11

15 Interfaces Navigation Your interface comes with the most recent version of IGO s NextGen Navigation software. For navigation user instructions go to Your first time using your new navigation you will have to set up the path for the files: To do this you will select the Nav Icon on the interface Home Page. From this screen select Browse. Open the NaviOne folder and look for NaviOne.exe file. Once you have selected this file it will bring you back to this page Make sure you have Auto Run checked. Then select Run GPS 12

17 Settings The Settings menu gives you the following: Media Settings GPS Settings System Settings Other Settings Copyright Display Time 14

18 Media Settings The Media Settings menu gives you the following: Equalizer Treble Mid Bass Listening Position Fader/Balance 15

19 GPS Settings The GPS Settings menu gives you the following: Map Update: Used to update the navigations maps. GPS Voice: Turn the GPS voice on/off. GPS Voice Mix: When on, the navigation voice will come from the driver side speaker only. GPS Voice Lever: Adjust the navigation audio level. 16

20 System Settings The System Settings menu gives you the following: System Update: Used to update the interface. System Reset: Used to reset the interfaces settings to the factory default. System Language: Used to switch the language of the systems display. 17

21 Copyright Settings The Copyright Settings menu gives you the following: Version: Displays what version of software your system is currently running. Barcode: Displays your units individual barcode number. MPEG: Displays the current Firmware your unit is running. 18

22 Time Settings The Time Settings gives you the following: Time Settings: Set clock manually Turn Daylight savings on/off Set time zone. Auto GPS Time: When switched on, unit uses the GPS to set your clock. 24-hour Clock: Switch between 24/12 hour clock formats. 19

23 Other/Display Settings The Display Settings gives you the following: Brightness: Adjust the screen Brightness Note: Auto must be turned off to use this adjustment Mode: Switch between Auto/Day/Night The Other Settings gives you the following: Rear Camera Settings: Turn the rear camera input on/off. Rear Camera Options: Switch between OEM/Aftermarket rear camera. Temperature: Switch between Celsius/Fahrenheit. Speedometer Display: Switch between Metric/US. 20
