3 1. Introduction This document describes the hardware of the XDS Package contents Main Unit Power Cord (with select power plug) 1.2. Physical view and features 1.3. Installation In some instances, due to major temperature deviation and change in elevation or environment, the signboard's glass panel might trap slight moisture and will require at least 2-4 hours for the condensation to evaporate prior to usage to avoid damaging the product. Mounting with VESA compatible mounting interface This smart signboard accepts a MIS-D100(100mm x 100mm) VESA-Compliant mounting interface, the recommended screw is M4 x 9mm (excl. bracket thickness) Installing the optional display stand 1 Place the display face down on a still surface, use clean cloth as cushion underneath is suggested 2 Place the stand on the mounting bracket and install the screw 1

4 3 Adjust the stand to switch between portrait/landscape installation Alternatively, user can rotate the screen to change its orientation follow the instruction as shown below: 1.4. Setting up Using control buttons 1 To unlock the control button, press and hold up and down buttons for 10 seconds, OSD unlocked notification will pop up on screen 2 Button function table Switch input source 1 Press AUTO button to access input source menu as shown below 2 Press AUTO button to switch between D-SUB,HDMI and Digital Signage, then press MENU button to enter the selected source 2

5 The OSD menu 1 Press MENU button to access OSD MENU, please check appendix for full menu explanation Factory reset by OSD There are 2 methods to perform factory reset, below describes the step to reset by OSD 1 Unlock control button if it is locked 2 Press AUTO button to access input source menu first 3 Press and hold up button for 5 seconds to access reset menu as shown below 4 Press up/down button to change focus to Reset and press MENU button to enter Reset option 5 Press up/down button to change setting as Yes then press MENU button to perform factory reset Factory reset by long press control button Alternatively, user can perform factory reset by long press control button 1 Power off device by remove power cord 2 Press and hold up button and then power on by connect power cord to the unit 3 Keep holding up button until power led blinks 3
