Quotations shall contain complete specifications and brand/model name/number of the above item. 2. Rates quoted shall be inclusive of all taxes and packing, forwarding, installation and testing charges. Any other charges over the quoted rate shall be clearly indicated. 3. Warranty period shall clearly be indicated. Three years manufacturer s comprehensive on site warranty is desirable. If warranty offered by the manufacturer is less than three years, charges for the extended warranty period shall be clearly indicated separately. Warranty card shall be supplied along with the item. During the warranty period, the vendor shall be fully responsible for the manufacturer s warranty in respect of proper design, quality and workmanship of all the equipment, accessories etc. 4. Delivery schedule may be clearly indicated. Vendor should be able to supply the items within twothree week from the date of Purchase Order. IIMK shall impose penalty for delayed 0.5% per week or part thereof; subject to a maximum of 2.5%. Delivery and installation shall be made at Indian Institute of, IIMK Campus P.O., Kunnamangalam, Kozhikode Normal payment terms acceptable to the Institute shall be 95% payment within 30 days of satisfactory installation and testing of the equipment and the rest 5% after expiry of warranty period. The acceptance of quotations shall rest with the Institute which does not bind the Institute to accept the lowest quotation and reserves to itself the authority to reject any or all of the quotations received without assigning any reason. 7. Quotations shall be submitted in sealed envelopes superscribing reference number of the quotation notice on it. Quotations received without superscribing reference number of the quotation notice on the envelope shall be rejected. 8. Quotations shall be submitted by speed post/courier/in person. Those who wish to submit the quotation in person shall drop it in Tender Box (Purchase Section) kept in the reception counter of IIM Kozhikode. 9. IIM Kozhikode shall not be responsible for quotations received in damaged condition. 10. IIM Kozhikode shall not be responsible for delay in transit. 11. 3 Specifications of Video Surveillance System Annexure I Indian Institute of Kozhikode (IIMK) is planning to deploy video surveillance system in two of the computer labs. The solution offered should comprise of 4 Nos. of IP surveillance cameras (2 Nos. each for each of the computer labs), surveillance management software, cables, all the accessories necessary for installation, integration with the network, PC, Storage etc. The solution offered should support at least the following features: Full HD Surveillance The solution offered should deliver Full HD 16:9 widescreen IP video surveillance providing high quality video for easy viewing and monitoring of the footage. Multiple Video Streams The solution offered should support simultaneous streaming of H.264, MPEG 4, and MJPEG video to provide both high quality and bandwidth efficient compression formats. It should also support multicast H.264 streaming, allowing users to view the camera feed by subscribing to a multicast IP address on the network. Day and Night Functionality It should be possible to use the camera during both day and night. Tamper proof The solution offered should have anti tamper features such as electronic tamper detection system to sense tampering such as redirecting the camera, de focusing, blocking, spray painting and respond promptly with a visible or audible alarm. Flexible Connectivity There should be input and output ports for connectivity to external devices such as IR sensors, switches and alarm relays. Power The camera proposed should be Power over Ethernet (PoE) compliant so as to allow it to be easily installed at any location without the need for supplemental power cabling. 3GPP Mobile Surveillance The solution offered should support for 3GPP Mobile Surveillance allowing users to view the live video feed from a 3GPP compatible Internet ready mobile device. 4 The solution offered should include management software to allow user to manage up to 32 network cameras, set e mail alert notifications, create recording schedules, and use motion detection to record directly important events to a hard drive. The software should also support uploading of floor plans to create a realistic layout of the premises where cameras are located, to further simplifying the management process. Viewing Window and eptz The solution proposed should provide facility to customize our region of interest (ROI) by drawing a rectangle on the full view display in the web interface.
