This collection of tools are specialized utilities for advanced troubleshooting in very specific areas

10 Citrix Health Assistant The Citrix Health Assistant is a Windows tool to help Citrix administrators troubleshoot configuration issues in a Citrix environment The tool automates a number of health checks to identify possible root causes for common VDA registration, session launch, and time zone redirection configuration issues provides a graphical user interface and supports operation from the command line Demo

Citrix does not supply support for issues or failures when connecting to your farm using connections created with this tool

26 LTSR Assistant The LTSR Assistant scans components of XenApp and XenDesktop to determine whether they are LTSR compliant A compliance report is generated showing the LTSR compliance status of the installed components The report also includes recommendations for components that are not in compliance or are not running the latest version The compliance results can be uploaded to Citrix Insight Services for further analysis and acceptance

27 LTSR Assistant Prerequisites Microsoft.NET Framework 3.5 SP1 Microsoft Windows PowerShell 2.0 or later Windows Remote Management needs to be enabled on targeted machines To scan successfully, the user account: Must be a XenApp and XenDesktop administrator with at least the Read Only administrator default role and Must be a member of the local administrators group on targeted machines. Windows Firewall must to allow inbound ICMP Echo Requests on targeted machines. Ensure that Internet access requirements are met. Ensure that required network ports are opened on targeted machines
