These services help companies quickly orchestrate and integrate their cloud services with on-premise applications and enterprise systems. Cast Iron Live V7.5 delivers following sets of new capabilities: Support for multiple serviceability improvements to error handling and the user experience. Key functionalities include the ability to invoke the Parature landing page directly from the Cast Iron Web Management Console. Support for a set of new built-in functions that are added to Cast Iron Studio. Support of Java V8 for Cast Iron Live Designer and Studio. Users with Java V8 installed on their machine can directly start designing and configuring integration projects on Cast Iron Live Designer and Studio. This helps improve the user experience by eliminating the need for the user to downgrade their existing Java Runtime Environment (JRE) to V7.x. Support of Mac OS for Cast Iron Live Designer and Studio. Users with Apple Mac OS machines can start designing and configuring integration projects on Cast Iron Live Designer and Studio. Only Windows TM OS was previously supported. Support for IBM-ID based authentication helps to: Simplify IBM and Cast Iron user sign-in and sign-up access authentication by using a trusted, IBM-ID-based, single-sign-on process. 3 Simplify and improve Cast Iron Live role-based user access authorization for Cast Iron Live users. Support for increased connectivity options that provides new, ready-to-use, prebuilt connectors and TIPs developed and supported by the IBM Cast Iron team. They include IBM InfoSphere (R) Master Data Management (MDM), IBM Silverpop (R), Microsoft Dynamics suite of applications, that includes Customer Relationship Management (CRM), AX (formerly Axapta), GP (formerly Great Plains Software), NAV (formerly Navision), Oracle Eloqua, Servicew, and more. Cast Iron Cloud Integration solutions help you quickly connect hybrid environments that are comprised of cloud and on-premise applications and may help achieve lower cost and a higher return on investment in cloud, SaaS, and mobile applications. You can develop integration by using a "configuration, not coding" approach, and deploy in the following form-factors that provide the same functionality: Cast Iron Live: A complete, multi-tenant cloud offering to connect cloud and onpremise applications. Cast Iron Live enables you to design, run, and manage integrations in the cloud without any infrastructure footprint on-site. Cast Iron Hypervisor Edition: A virtual appliance that can be installed on your existing servers by using virtualization technology. Virtual appliances allow better utilization of hardware and faster response to demands for newly deployed systems on the real appliance. This helps to reduce the costs of both hardware and software operation and maintenance. Deploying virtual images may help businesses reduce the potential for errors and enable the rapid deployment of working systems for development, test, or production because virtual images are built with known, stable, and tested configurations.
