In this model, existing telephony equipment can be integrated with, or replaced with AudioCodes One Box 365. Lync 2013 supports a Hybrid model also known as a split domain model. This model enables a combination of Office 365 Lync users and on-premises Lync users to communicate simultaneously and using on-premises equipment deploy enterprise voice. Office 365 applications such as Exchange continue to be managed and maintained in the cloud. AudioCodes One Box 365 solutions enable organisations to deploy Lync Enterprise Voice quickly in an easy to manage turnkey appliance with minimal organisational disruption. Also known as Lync Online, many Lync features are available to subscribers to the Office 365 suite - but which currently EXCLUDES Enterprise Voice. This means that voice features and functions commonly found in a traditional PBX are unavailable.
