IP presence: Presence services let you know which employees are currently using their 3Com IP phone. Working with other components of the 3Com IP telephony solution that use SIP, IP conferencing and presence capabilities offer advanced services such as presence publishing. Presence publishing supports SIP Instant Messaging and Presence Leveraged Extensions (SIMPLE) clients, allowing them to receive availability information from other clients that are registered with the 3Com IP telephony solution. 5 3Com Telephony, Messaging, and Conferencing Licenses 3Com IP Telephony Server License: 3Com IP Telephony Server License gives you the right to use IP telephony software on a System i model running the IP telephony software. You need to purchase an IP telephony phone license to make it functional. The IP telephony application provides an easy-to-access, rich set of telephony features. Supports high availability and secure operations Accommodates telephony installations ranging from individual small offices to multinational networked sites Allows deployment of four- or five-digit dialing plan for the entire enterprise 3Com IP Messaging Server License: 3Com IP Messaging Server License gives you the right to use IP messaging software on a System i model. This license applies only to IP messaging. You need to purchase an IP messaging seat license to make it functional. IP messaging offers a robust, reliable centralized messaging solution for medium to large enterprise. 3Com IP messaging is extremely flexible, with standard features for voice, fax, and messaging. It has an all-ip, SIP-based architecture. The messaging application also allows for PBX integration and voice mail system replacement. 3Com IP Messaging Seat License: 3Com IP Messaging Seat License includes voice mail functions, such as leaving voice mail, basic auto attendant, message forwarding, message waiting indication, client integration, "find me, follow me," and fax mail. 3Com IP Conferencing Server License: 3Com IP Conferencing Server License gives you the right to use IP conferencing software on any System i server. You need to purchase an IP conferencing seat license and the DVD media to make it functional. It uses IP networks to cost-effectively enhance collaboration between workers at remote sites. It allows for audio conferencing among participants calling in from the PSTN or using phones connected to legacy PBX or SIP-based phones directly connected to IP network. The optional presence module shows the availability of colleagues. 3Com One Seat Audio Conferencing License: 3Com One Seat Audio Conferencing License provides entitlement for one audio conference session. Prerequisite: 3Com IP Conferencing Server License. 3Com One Seat Multimedia License: 3Com One Seat Multimedia License provides entitlement for one video and data conference session. Prerequisite: 3Com IP Conferencing Server License. 3Com call records, authentication, and text-to-speech licenses: 3Com IP Call Records Server License: 3Com IP Call Records Server License enables a desktop application that can pull reports from the 3Com accounting suites and generate extensive reports on call usage, performance, and IP messaging usage. One license is needed per server. 3Com IP Authentication Directory Server License: 3Com IP authentication Directory Server License to access Authentication and Directory server. One license is needed per server. 3Com Text-to-Speech (English): 3Com Text-to-Speech English port license, Text-to-speech reader for U.S. English, including VCX middleware and Scansoft nonrebranded Speechify engine. 3Com Text-to-Speech (Spanish): 3Com Text-to-Speech Latin American Spanish port license. Text-to-speech reader for Latin American Spanish, including VCX Middleware and nonrebranded ScanSoft Speechify software with Latin American text-to-speech engine. 3Com call center licenses: 3Com EPICCenter Server License: This license includes 10 inbound voice agents and 10 IVR ports. Note: This function will not be available until August 31, Com EPIC Agent 5 License (5-agent bundle) enables multimedia features. 3Com EPIC Agent 5 Web Chat License (5-agent bundle) enables Web multimedia collaboration features. 3Com EPICCenter NET Licenses 3Com EPIC NetEngine Multisite License: One site license enables multisite networking for one site. 3Com EPIC NETVisor Multisite Supervisor License: One supervisor license enables multisite networking for one supervisor. 3Com EPIC NETAgent Multisite Agent License: One agent license enables multisite networking for one agent. 3Com EPICCenter Port Licenses: 3Com EPIC IVR Port License (four ports) enables the EPICCenter to handle call processing. Each port can handle one call and one activity at a time 3Com telecommuting licenses: 3Com TCM 10 Add-on Seat License: You can purchase 10 TCM licenses for 10 concurrent users. You can configure 50 users, but the TCM license allows only 10 concurrent users. 3Com TCM 25 Add-on Seat License: This license entitles 25 incremental users for the 3Com Telecommuting Module (3CRVHH702596B). 3Com device licenses: 3Com IP Standard Phone License (one-port/unit-based) permits connection of a 3Com 3102/3103 phone to telephony system; one license per phone is required for operation.
