Log into Citrix Network: 1. Open the browser to 2. Log in using your CSSEA network user ID and Password 3. If you receive the message Install Citrix Receiver to Access Your Application, click I agree with the Citrix Licensing Agreement and click Install to start the client software installation (See instructions). Once the client software is installed, close the browser and log back into Citrix. Note: You will only need to click Install if the Citrix client software isn t installed on your desktop, laptop or others. If Citrix is already installed, click Log On. Page 1 of 5

2 Client Installation: 1. Select I agree with the Citrix License Agreement and click install 2. Click Start on the Welcome to Citrix Receiver screen 3. Accept the licensing Agreement. Click Next 4. Click Next and Do Not select Enable single sign-on 5. Click Install and select No Thanks to not participate with Citrix Client Experience Improvement Program Page 2 of 5

3 4. Click DESKTOPS on the navigation bar to access the full network, applications and map-drives. Click APPS to access the individual applications i.e Word, Excel, PowerPoint Notes: To log off from Citrix Desktop, click Start Button and then click Logoff To completely log off from Citrix, click the arrow beside your name on the navigation bar of and click Logoff If you receive the message Your virtual desktop is attempting to access your local files, click No Access if you do not want to grant Citrix access to your local files on your home computer or laptop, otherwise, choose either Read-Only Access or Read/Write Access. You can also hide the message box by clicking Do not ask me again for this virtual desktop B. ipad & iphone / Mobile Device Installation: The following instructions are for iphone and ipad only, however, the configuration settings from Step 4 to 6 would also apply to other mobile devices. 1. Download and install Citrix Receiver from Apple itunes or other mobile device App Store. 2. Once Citrix Receiver is installed, open the App 3. Click the Person Icon 4. Enter the following New Account information and then click Next Address: Use Smart Card: disabled by default Page 3 of 5

4 5. Enter your CSSEA account information and then click GO on the keyboard. User Name: Enter your network user ID Password: Enter your network password ( case sensitive ) Domain: cssea cssea 6. Select Store: CSSEA and click SAVE CSSEA Note: To Log off from Citrix Receiver, click the Person Icon and then click Log off. Page 4 of 5

5 C. Troubleshooting: 1. Citrix is installed, but I can t open any of the APPS or Citrix Desktop Uninstall and re-install Citrix onto your computer or mobile device 2. I received the message Your virtual desktop is attempting to access your local files? Click No Access if you do not want to grant Citrix access to your local files on your home computer or laptop, otherwise, choose either Read-Only Access or Read/Write Access. You can also hide the message box by clicking Do not ask me again for this virtual desktop 3. How do I manually install Citrix client software? a) Go to b) Download and save the installation file to your desktop (Windows or MAC) (For mobile devices i.e ipad, iphone, Samsung, etc. use the App stores to download the files)) c) Double click the downloaded file to start the installation. d) Click OK to complete the installation 4. When I use Firefox or any other browsers other than Internet Explorer, the message Install Citrix Receiver to Access Your Application appears all the time and Citrix client software is already installed. Citrix client software works best with Microsoft Internet Explorer. For other browsers such as Firefox, Safari and Chrome, click Log on. 5. How do I transfer files from Citrix to my local computer or vise-versa? To transfer a file to your local computer / laptop, go to Start / Computer and then copy the file(s) to i.e Local Disk (C: on <computer name>) 6. Who do I contact for technical support?
