4 System Landscape 2 Introduction This document is a checklist to verify the correct installation and configuration of the SAP Product and REACH Compliance solution. Make entries in the tables or select the relevant checkboxes for the corresponding steps. Use this document for communication with support. Do not use the checklist as an installation guide for configuration of SAP Product and REACH Compliance. Ensure that you are familiar with the installation and configuration procedure as described in the installation and configuration guides for SAP Product and REACH Compliance. For more information, see SAP Note February 2011

5 System Landscape 3 Check Installation The checks listed in this chapter are intended to be executed by a system administrator. 3.1 System Landscape Check the dual stack and Federated Portal Network (FPN). Select the checkboxes if the system contains: Federated Portal Network (FPN). 3.2 Software Components Check ERP Components. Use transaction SAINT to check that the software component version of TDAGBCA meets the following requirement, otherwise insert the founded level: For mysap ERP 2004 (ECC 5.00) Add-On Installed Installed Level TDAGBCA 200_500 For SAP ERP 6.0 (ECC 6.00): Add-On Installed Installed Level TDAGBCA 200_600 Check the version of Java software components and of the Enterprise Portal. 8 Prerequisites 4 Check of Basic Configuration 4.1 Prerequisites You have executed the steps explained in the Upgrade and Installation Guide. You have executed the steps explained in the Basic Configuration Guide. 4.2 System Access System ERP System and Client Insert the system and the client ID that is used in the ERP system. Example Customer Setting System PS1 Client 055 Portal web address Insert the URL of your Portal. Example Customer Setting URL If SAP support needs access to the Portal, the Portal itself should be connected from the OSS system from SAP. Therefore, the URL is needed to set up the connection for the transaction STFK User ERP User Insert the user and password for the ERP user. Customer Setting User Password Leave the password field empty, if necessary. 8 February 2011

9 Check Classes and Characteristics Portal User Insert the user and password for the portal user. Customer Setting User Password Leave the password field empty, if necessary. 4.3 Check Classes and Characteristics Execute cross system check to verify the adoption of the classes and characteristics in the target client Call the Cross-System Viewer (transaction SCU0) with the piece list of the highest applied Product and REACH Compliance support package (/TDAG/RCS_PLCL_20_nn, for example, /TDAG/RCS_PLCL_20_00 for SP00). Check in the difference list if the classes and characteristics of the comparison system are included. It is assumed that some classes and characteristics have different content, but in such a case it is correct. If classes or characteristics are missing, start the transfer again and execute this check step again. Piece List: /TDAG/RCS_PLCL_20_ has been used. All classes and characteristics are available. Check number of classes Call transaction CL02 and search for classes starting with SAP_RCS*: Expected Result Result Check the number of classes starting with SAP_RCS* >= 44 Hits Check number characteristics Call transaction CT04 and search for characteristics names starting with SAP_RCS*: Expected Result Result Check the number of characteristics starting with SAP_RCS* >= 237 Hits February

Check in the difference list for the processing status of the Customizing activities. If some statuses are not completed, do a comparison with your reference system and fix the difference. The difference should be solved by accepting the reference system value. Piece List: /TDAG/RCS_PLCSC_20 has been used. In the difference list, the processing status are completed. 10 February 2011

Check that at least one legal entity and one organizational unit exist. Check REACH substance authorization groups (RSAGs) Use the Customizing activity in Environment, Health and Safety Basic Data and Tools Specification Management Specification Master Specify Authorization Groups. Check whether the authorization groups for REACH substances are available. Check Partner and Contact Functions Use the Customizing activity in Product and REACH Compliance Business Partners and Contacts Specify Determination for Business Partners and Contacts Check if the REACH partner functions for supplier and customer are maintained Check property trees In transaction CG02, check if the property trees exist. This is a visual and function check of the property trees. Call transaction CG02 with a pure substance and check property tree RCS Call transaction CG02 with a real substance and check property tree RCS_REAL February

12 Check Content 4.5 Check Content Material Classification Check material classification In transaction CL02, check that the class defined in environment parameter SVT_MATERIAL_CLASS (in Customizing activity: Environment, Health and Safety under Basic Data and Tools Basic Settings Specify Environment Parameters) exists and that the class type 001 is available. 21 Configuration of IUCLID Integration Check IUCLID Synchronization Open the Endpoint Management Test view using the URL: webdynpro/dispatcher/technidata.de/rcs~epmgmt~wd/epmgmttest Execute the steps described on the view. Note, that the Recno for the substance is only a dummy value (not necessarily from a real substance) that is used to determine the correct IUCLID instance in a multi IUCLID instance environment. (Test for the /TDAG/RCS_BADI_IUCL BAdI Implementation) The synchronization was successful. The message: "IUCLID synchronization of the substance was finished successfully." appears. You could synchronize at least one study record (amount of synchronized study records). If the amount of synchronized data records is 0, check that the IUCLID substance has assigned some REACH relevant study records and execute the test again IUCLID Synchronization Background Job Check the RFC Destinations Call transaction SM59. Additionally, call the NetWeaver administrator using the URL and navigate to Configuration Management -> Infrastructure -> Jco RFC Provider. Backend: Check that a TCP/IP connection for the IUCLID synchronization is maintained. Java NetWeaver: Check that the Jco RFC Destination for the IUCLID Synchronization is maintained. Check that Jco RFC destination is running. Check that both destinations (ABAP + Java) are using the same program ID. Check that the ABAP RFC destination is also configured in the environment parameters. Customizing Activity: SAP Product and REACH Compliance -> Basic Data -> Specify Environment Parameters for Web Processes. Paramenter: RFC_DEST_IUCLID_SYNC Open the ABAP RFC destination and choose the Connection Test pushbutton. Result should be positive. Check the Screen Variant for the Synchronization Program Call transaction SM38. Check that a variant for the program: /TDAG/RCSR_SYNC_SUB_IUCLID exists. Check the specifications that are used in the variant. These specifications will be synchronized with the background job. February

22 Xcelsius Integration Check the Background Job Call transaction SM37. Search for the IUCLID background synchronization job. Check the start condition and the job steps. A step for the program /TDAG/RCSR_SYNC_SUB_IUCLID must be in the step list. Check User for Synchronization Background Job Check that role /TDAG/RCS_IUCLID_SYNC is assigned to the technical user being used for IUCLID background synchronization 5.5 Xcelsius Integration Check Web Service URL for Xcelsius integration Call Customizing activity Product and REACH Compliance Analytics and Reporting Xcelsius Integration and select Xcelsius dashboard PROJECTSTATUS_OVERVIEW Check if the placeholders in the URL delivered with the product standard are replaced by your own <host>, <port> and <client> Check availability of campaign statistic Call the Portal using URL irj/portal Go to Product Safety and Stewardship Reports Project Statistics. You have executed the steps explained in the Configuration Guide Supply Chain Collaboration. 6.2 Xcelsius Integration Check Web Service URL for Xcelsius integration Call Customizing activity Product and REACH Compliance Analytics and Reporting Xcelsius Integration and select Xcelsius dashboard CAMPAIGN_OVERVIEW Check if the placeholders in the URL delivered with the product standard are replaced by your own <host>, <port> and <client> Check availability of campaign statistic Call the Portal using URL irj/portal Go to Product Safety and Stewardship Reports Campaign Statistics. Check whether campaign statistics are correctly displayed in Xcelsius 6.3 Adapt Interactive Form (IF) REACH Templates Check configured form Call Customizing activity Product and REACH Compliance Data Exchange Outgoing Definition. Select each of the Interactive Form REACH Templates (template category = Interactive Form), navigate to Language and Country Specifics and determine which PDF template is configured Each of the Interactive Form REACH Templates to be used has the correct PDF template assigned. Check reply address Use transaction SFP to verify that the address of the mailto: button in the footer of the configured.pdf template is adapted to the appropriate 24 February 2011

Execute print preview for a formula e.g. /TDAG/RCSAIF_UEC_CUS_REACH 6.4 Internet Graphics Service Check Internet Graphic Service Call transaction SE38 and select report GRAPHICS_IGS_ADMIN. Execute the report with the predefined RFC destination. Select Goto Test Chart (Mass Test) and navigate back to the overview.
