3 1 Product Description 1.1 Overview MTG3000T is a highly-reliable and high-performance trunk gateway which is used for VoIP code conversion and designed for telecom operators and various industries. Focusing on a concept of maintainable, manageable and operable, MTG3000T features high integration and large capacity. It constructs a flexible, high-efficient and future-oriented communication network for users. MTG3000T supports SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) and multiple codec methods. With high-capacity concurrency, quick connection, the gateway improves the utilizing efficiency of trucking resources while ensuring voice quality. It is widely used by call centers, operators and large-size enterprises for the entry into IMS network based on VoIP. 5 2 Product Introduction 2.1 Hardware Structure Main Components MTG3000T transcoding device consist of DTU and MCU boards. Each MTG3000T box support 4 DTU boards maximum. Number of DTU boards depends on how many channels needed. MCU (Main control unit) MCU is the core processing unit of the gateway. It is used to process various signaling protocols such as SIP, SS7 and PRI, and meanwhile is used to realize resource allocation and system management. DTU (Digital transcoding unit) DTU is mainly responsible for the processing of various media resources, such as the ng, decoding and processing of voice traffics. codi Network Interfaces MTG3000T provide two 10/100/1000 Base-T network interfaces. If a caller number match with one of the numbers on the Caller Black List, calls will be rejected - Calls to the numbers on the Callee Black List will be rejected to pass. If a caller number cannot match with one of the numbers on the Caller White List, calls from the caller number will be rejected. - Calls to the numbers on the Callee White List will be allowed to pass.
