3 Page 3 of 21 HARD DRIVE INSTALLATION Install hard drive in cage and replace cage Note that side of hard drive with label is installed towards the bottom of the cage. Install cage by placing it in position, sliding in the direction of the arrow and re-inserting the screw.

4 Page 4 of 21 Installation of Pegasos BackPlane TOP PSU PSU Remove backplane piece included with case. Insert Pegasos backplane from the inside of the case. Orientation is as shown

Insert 6 screws in Screw motherboard into case at all points indicated by white arrows. Do not insert screw next to PSU

6 Page 6 of 21 Install RAM on Pegasos Mainboard RAM and Pegasos Mainboard are ESD sensitive Observe Precautions Install RAM RAM Rear of Case RAM Insert RAM module into slot. Chips face to rear of case. Press into place until white fasteners engage.

7 Page 7 of 21 Make LED and USB Connections Mainboard is ESD Sensitive Use Precautions The LED and USB Connectors are to the front of the board,located as shown below Back of case LED & USB Connectors

8 Page 8 of 21 Connect red and black wire, to first two pins Black to the back Connect blue and white wire, white to the back Back of Case Connect green and white wire, white to back Connect orange and white wire, white to the back

9 Page 9 of 21 Connect USB From USB Cable Mainboard is ESD Sensitive Use Precautions Connect USB Wires according to color scheme shown below. Skip First Pin, as shown Note LED connectors to the right LED Connectors Skip First Pin

10 Page 10 of 21 Install CPU CPU and Mainboard are ESD Sensitive Observe Precautions CPU Fan CPU Installed Power Connector CPU Slot Front of Case Carefully press CPU into Slot. Note: Fan faces front of case

12 Page 12 of 21 Make Rear Connectors from Audio Cable Mainboard is ESD Sensitive Use Precautions In red connector, place red, black and brown wires, as shown. In green connector, place blue and yellow wire as shown. Red Connector Green Connector Back of Case Skip Second Pin, at white arrow

13 Page 13 of 21 Connect IDE Cables to Mainboard Mainboard is ESD Sensitive Use Precautions Back of case IDE Connectors Connect IDE Cable to mainboard. Blue connector of cable goes to mainboard Note cable orientation slot on board matches notch on cable Primary Secondary

15 Page 15 of 21 Connect IDE and Power Cable to Hard Drive Connect Power Cable to Hard Drive. Note connector orientation Connect IDE Cable to Hard Drive Align tab in cable to slot in Hard Drive Connector.
