The chamber is filled with a highly corrosive, salt solution and heated to 100 F. After 1 hours, the parts are removed and results are compared. See photos below. Complete bearings with seals on both sides are sprayed continuously with a 5% salt solution at 100 F. The bearings operate continuously at 500 RPM for hours and idle for 1 hour. This cyclical condition test is complete after 80 hours.
