3. LABELS Please follow the instructions below to attach the labels on the correct place.

LABEL ON THE FRONT COVER. CLEAN THE COVER WITH ISOPROPANOL BEFORE ATTACHING THE LABEL.

CHOOSE ONE AND CLICK IT IN THE FRONTCOVER. YOU MAY REMOVE THE BACKING BUT IT IS NOT NECESSARY.

4 3. LABELS Please follow the instructions below to attach the labels on the correct place. KEYBOARD LABEL ATTACH THE LABEL DIRECTLY HEATER LABEL STICK THE HEATER LABEL NEXT TO THE CAUTION LABEL ON THE FRONT COVER. CLEAN THE COVER WITH ISOPROPANOL BEFORE ATTACHING THE LABEL. MAINTENANCE LABEL (SET) THIS LABEL IS AVAILABLE IN 6 LANGUAGES. CHOOSE ONE AND CLICK IT IN THE FRONTCOVER. YOU MAY REMOVE THE BACKING BUT IT IS NOT NECESSARY. IRRITATING LABEL STICK THE IRRITATING LABEL BETWEEN THE GOGGLE AND GLOVE LABEL ON THE WASTE LIQUID TANK. FIRST REMOVE GREASE WITH EASYPROPANOL. AP Page 4/10

4. INK STARTER SET Use this kit (2 boxes of each 8 cassettes) to perform a first ink load.

Caution Before powering ON the unit, make sure the waste bottle is installed. Caution Be careful that ink does not get in your eyes or on your skin.

Do not disassemble ink cassettes. Otherwise, ink may get in your eyes or on your skin. Only use Eco-Solvent ink and appropriate cleaning liquid. Using other ink (e.g. dye or pigment) could cause permanent damage to the printer Notes This product has been tuned for the use of Eco-Solvent ink cassettes.

5 4. INK STARTER SET Use this kit (2 boxes of each 8 cassettes) to perform a first ink load. BOX 1 BOX 2 Eco-Solvent Cleaning (8) Eco-Solvent Ink Set 2x Black Cyan Magenta Yellow Please follow the procedure below to perform the first ink load. Caution Before powering ON the unit, make sure the waste bottle is installed. Caution Be careful that ink does not get in your eyes or on your skin. However, if this happens, flush immediately with water. Otherwise, your eyes may become congested or inflamed slightly. If you feel discomfort, consult a doctor immediately. Do not disassemble ink cassettes. Otherwise, ink may get in your eyes or on your skin. Only use Eco-Solvent ink and appropriate cleaning liquid. Using other ink (e.g. dye or pigment) could cause permanent damage to the printer Notes This product has been tuned for the use of Eco-Solvent ink cassettes. If other manufacturer's products are used, o drawing results become faint or ink ends are not properly detected, and o the warranty will not cover (repairs will require a fee) any resultant breakdown. Refer to the price list for the different types and details of ink cassettes. Do not shake ink cassettes strongly. Otherwise, ink may leak. Do not disassemble ink cassettes. The Océ CS9000 Eco-Solvent printer series will start pumping air for about 15 seconds. Step 4 : The following message will be displayed. Step 5 : The head will be unlocked.

6 Parts needed: Before powering ON the unit for the first time, please be sure to have: 8 cassettes with Eco-Solvent cleaning liquid 8 cassettes with Eco-Solvent ink (2 x CMYK) First ink load procedure: Step 1 : Step 2 : Step 3 : Verify if the Waste bottle is empty. Power ON the unit. Remove all dummy cassettes as indicated on the display. The Océ CS9000 Eco-Solvent printer series will start pumping air for about 15 seconds. Step 4 : The following message will be displayed. Step 5 : The head will be unlocked. Moisten the caps with Eco-Solvent cleaning liquid. Step 6 : Install the 8 NEW Eco-Solvent cleaning cassettes (2) as requested on the display. See images below. The display will show the remaining minutes, 9 min for a 65 machine and 13 min for a 90 machine: Please note that you have to wait 1 minute if the display mentions 0 minutes: (or 9 min for 65 machines) AP Page 6/10

7 Step 7 : Empty the Waste bottle as requested on the display below. Step 8 : Remove all Eco-Solvent Cleaning cassettes when the message below appears. Step 9 : Insert the correct configuration of Eco-Solvent ink cassettes as requested on the display: The ink cassette must be put in a specific slot according to the type and colour used. See configurations below. Configuration: Slot Cassette K Y C M M C Y K Inserting cassettes: Insert the cassettes (2) in the printer slots (1) with the arrow mark (3) face-up and pointing to the rear of the printer as indicated on the image below. Insert the cassettes (2) as far as possible. AP Page 7/10

8 Step 10 : Wait until the Ink Refill sequence has been finished, the display will show the remaining minutes, 9 min for a 65 machine and 13 min for a 90 machine : Please note that you have to wait 1 minute if the display mentions 0 minutes: (or 9 min for 65 machines) Step 11 : Empty the Waste bottle when the display requests it. Notes During ink installation, note the following. Do not power off the printer. Do not unplug the power cable. Do not open the front cover. Notes This product has been tuned for the use of Eco-Solvent ink cassettes. If other manufacturers products are used, drawing results become faint or ink ends are not properly detected, and the warranty will not cover (repairs will require a fee) any resultant breakdown. 10 5.2. Maintenance Overview This section describes the periodical services required for this machine. The periodical services ensure stable print out quality of the machine. In the periodical services, some service parts may be checked, cleaned, or replaced. Perform periodical inspections according to the table below. No Action Frequency 1 Cleaning the edges of the caps and the area around the caps. Weekly 2 Cleaning around the bottom of the heads. Weekly 3 Cleaning the wipers. 2 weekly 4 Replacing the wipers. Monthly 5 Replacing the sponge in the spitting box. Monthly 6 Change the upper sponge at the back of the capping station. 6 Monthly Notes All cleaning in Ink areas must be done with Eco-Solvent cleaning liquid. Above maintenance cycle is based on use: 8 hours / day, 5 days / week and 44 weeks / year. If the machine is used more often, maintenance periods will come earlier.
