2 Altissimo Sit-Stand Launch Announcement Herman Miller is pleased to announce the availability of the Altissimo Sit-Stand Workstation through Options, which supports the work desk Sit-Stand revolution. Positioned at the rear, side or corner of an existing work surface this solution economically transforms stationary surfaces into an ergonomic height adjustable workstation. The smooth moving Altissimo is a solution for users requiring a flexible yet stable ergonomic height adjustable workstation. Designed by Knape & Vogt, the Altissimo will enhance work environments with it s strong functional support.

3 Product Description The ergonomically designed Altissimo allows the user to adjust their primary computer work surface from a sit to stand position easily and effectively. The Altissimo has 22 of gas assisted height adjustment as well as an independent height adjustable mechanism for the keyboard tray. This design achievement ensures the majority of the population from the 5th percentile seated female to the 95th percentile standing male are accommodated comfortably and ergonomically while working in a standing or seated position. Supporting equipment ranging from 5-25 lbs, the weight capacity of the Altissimo is versatile enough to accommodate single or dual LCD monitors, or heavier all-in-one PC models. The Altissimo is supplied with a grommet mount as well as a C-clamp bracket allowing for simple installation and product placement at the rear, side or corner of a desk. The entire workstation can be extended forward placing the keyboard tray below the desk top when the user is in a seated position. For convenience the Altissimo can be positioned out of the way when not required, leaving the original desk surface fully accessible. The monitor tower and keyboard tray rotate independently from the work surface, allowing for seamless information sharing or full screen privacy. Another screen adjustment is engaged through 9.5 of independent counter balance height positioning, ensuring a user can lower or raise the screen into the most desired location. Tested to over 20,000 cycles on all moving parts*, the Altissimo comes with a 5 year warranty and exceeds the performance of competitive solutions. 7 Product Positioning & Training The Altissimo is a good solution for clients who have fixed height worksurfaces and want to add height adjustability where our current Herman Miller height adjustable leg kits will not work with their application. This is not a Herman Miller designed product, but it is intended to be a gap filler for customers who need a product like this. We strongly recommend letting a customer try the product in person before purchasing it so they get hands on time with it. It is a functional product which should be positioned to customers only after the use of Renew or V1 have been ruled out.
