2 5.1 General information 5.1 General information Our office range perfectly complements the Köttermann Systemlabor. Desks are available in many shapes and widths. The range includes fully pre-assembled office desks as well as individual elements that you can combine to suit your requirements. Various practical desk accessories make it easier to work and keep the office neatly organised. In particular the spacious pedestal cabinets, available in different models, are designed to store a lot of paperwork. Köttermann office chairs feature a design that meets every demand on ergonomic seats. The range is complexed by a wide selection of tall storage cabinets and low cabinets. For example the elliptically shaped curved table is particularly well suited for workplaces where people don t need to work at PC constantly because there is plenty of space for both the monitor and keyboard on its wider side. Square desks that can be expanded into desk corner combinations by adding a connecting leaf are also available. Additionally the line includes conference tables. All desks and tables are mounted on vertically adjustable leg frames. The desktops are made of laminate and are available in blue and beech veneer. 285

Various desktop shapes that can be connected together are available for this and because the connection depths of all desktop shapes match, the desktops and frames can be combined freely. The desktops feature a laminate coat and are available in blue and beech veneer. To fit the desktops and low cabinet panels in the same decor, top panels are also available for low cabinets. The tubular legs are screwed on directly under the desktops, either individually or as a permanently connected pair of legs. If several desks are to be connected together, two desks can be mounted on three pairs of legs with the centre pair of legs positioned in the middle to support both desks. The leg sleeves can be used to level the height of the leg frame between 30 and +30 mm. The standard height of the tubular legs is 720 mm and together with the desktop, the overall table height amounts to mm. For example, because the PC is kept on a separate shelf, there s more free space on the desktop. The monitor shield is used as a cover and is mounted behind the monitor. Lamps are available with or without a base. On the keyboard shelf the keyboard slides out of sight under the desktop. Printer cable trays are mounted out of sight under the desktop and run the electrical cables to the sockets safely. Instead of hanging from the desktops, cables from the devices are neatly laid into the cable trays through a cable pass-through in the desktop. Köttermann pedestal cabinets are available in four different designs: on castors or tubular feet as well as with either three 150 mm high drawers or with one 150 mm high drawer and one 300 mm high drawer with a retractable hanging file frame. Additionally all pedestal cabinets are equipped with a 75 mm high pencil tray and a lock with draw-out block. The pedestal cabinets are simply pushed under the desk. 12 5.5 Office cabinets High cabinets Using high cabinets is a practical way to create additional storage space in the office. Because the office can be combined with the laboratory, all tall storage cabinets can be used in the laboratory as well as in the office. A complete selection can be found in Section Low cabinets / / A fully equipped office is not complete without low cabinets. They can be fitted with a top panel that matches the desks to blend in harmoniously with the other furnishings. All the low cabinets are 870 mm high. The overall height of the cabinet together with the top panel is 900 mm. The depth can be either 360 or 520 mm. Available widths are 600, 900 and mm. All the low cabinets are fitted with lockable hinged doors.
