5 line-of-sight desks terms and conditions Prices Prices in this guide are effective as of March 1, Prices shown apply to standard products and finishes. Delivery Standard lead time is 4-6 weeks from receipt of order. FOB point is Buffalo, NY for U.S. orders, or Toronto, ON for Canadian orders. Freight Freight cost is waived to any destination in Canada or the continental U.S. for all orders over $25,000 list. All orders under $25,000 list are subject to the following freight charges: Eastern Canada/U.S. an additional 3% of the total list price; Western Canada/U.S. an additional 5% of the total list price. All orders will be subject to a minimum freight charge of $150 for Eastern Canada/U.S., and $200 for Western Canada/U.S. Standard delivery is dock to dock, Monday to Friday, during normal business hours. ISE will accommodate requests for a specific delivery time, but we cannot guarantee it and cannot be held responsible should this not occur. The customer will be responsible for all special delivery costs including: after-hour, holiday, weekend, guaranteed delivery time; special carrier or shipping method; call before charges; need for special delivery equipment, including lift gates; absence of a loading dock; inside delivery; street unloads; extra manpower; detention charges; re-routing or re-delivery; improper refusal of product; and storage fees. Packaging Desk bases are shipped disassembled (knock-down). Freight Claims All product is securely packed and leaves our facility in good condition. The carrier upon acceptance of the shipment assumes responsibility for its safe delivery. Claims for loss or damage sustained in transit must be made with the carrier. Any external evidence of damage or shortage must be carefully noted on the bill of lading or delivery receipt and signed by the carrier agent. Then immediately file a claim with the carrier. For concealed damage, immediately file a claim with the carrier, and request an inspection. Customization Most of our products can be customized to meet your specific needs. Please obtain a custom request form from your dealer or ISE Customer Service. Return the completed form to ISE to receive a quotation. Payment Terms Payment is due within 30 days of invoice date. Call us toll free or fax or info@ise-group.com Warranty ISE warrants to the original end user of its Line-of-Sight desk product, that they are free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of three (3) years for electrical components and ten (10) years for desk parts. ISE will, at its option, either repair or replace any part of its products that prove defective by reason of improper workmanship or materials. Repaired parts, or replacement products, will be provided by ISE on an exchange basis, and will be either new or refurbished to be functionally equivalent to new. This warranty does not cover any damage to a Line-of-Sight desk product that results from improper installation, accident, abuse, natural disaster, insufficient or excessive electrical supply, abnormal mechanical or environmental conditions, or any unauthorized disassembly, repair or modification. This warranty also does not apply to any product on which the original identification information has been altered, obliterated or removed, has not been handled correctly, or has been resold. This warranty covers only repair, replacement, or refund for defective products, as provided above. ISE does not accept liability for loss of use, consequential damage or injury. 2

Both of these materials have high recycled material content and are fully recyclable. 6 steel Steel contains an average of 58% recycled content and is 100% recyclable. Steel is powdercoat finished and emits zero volatile organic compounds. packaging Corrugated packaging contains 100% recycled content and is 100% recyclable. particleboard Particleboard contains 100% recycled content and is 100% recyclable. Particleboard meets the California Air Resources Board formaldehyde emission standard (CARB Phase 1, 0.18 ppm, January 2009). Particleboard is laminated on two sides with Wilsonart laminates, which are Greenguard indoor air quality certified. leed Line-of-Sight desks are LEED eligible products (Materials and Resources / 20% Recycled Content / Post-consumer + 1/2 preconsumer waste) For example, an All-in-One Desk with electric flat screen lift (page 8) contains 65% recycled material content (15% postconsumer and 50% pre-consumer waste) multi-circuit power Line-of-Sight desks can be powered using 8-wire 4-circuit power tracks (page 23). Each power track has two duplex receptacles ie total four plug-ins. Each plug-in corresponds to one circuit (20 Amp US/15 Amp CDN). Circuits are numbered and printed on the duplex receptacles as I / II / III / IIII. Circuits I and II (first receptacle) are utility circuits, and circuits III and IIII (second receptacle) are computer circuits. This is known as a 2+2 circuit configuration. While equipment can be plugged into any of the four circuits, computer circuits III and IIII are optimized for computer equipment use (also known as isolated circuits). Please note that some jurisdictions do not permit the use of power tracks. 25 multi-circuit power system 22 Follow the steps below to estimate the system components required to power a group of Line-of-Sight desks using 8-wire 4-circuit power tracks (page 23) Step 1 Calculate how much power will be needed Determine how much power will be used by each cpu or laptop computer, flat screen, printer etc. that will be continuously running. A rule of thumb is: cpu or laptop computer 2.5 amps; flat screen LCD 1.5 amps; printer 3.5 amps. Add up the total amount of amps that will be needed by all the electrical devices in the group of desks (omit the electric monitor lift) Step 2 Calculate how many power feeds will be needed If your calculation in Step 1 is 60 total amps or less (Canada 48 total amps), you can use one power feed. If more than 60 amps (Canada 48 total amps), use an additional power feed, decrease some of the power being used, or re-configure the desk grouping. The power feed(s) will require a power entry cable (and perhaps power pole) to bring the building power supply to the desks. Step 3 Calculate the power track configuration that will be needed Each user (computer station) will be provided with one power track that has two duplex receptacles (four plug-ins). Each power track comes with a pre-determined length of cable to connect it to the next adjacent power track. The correct cable lengths needed are determined from the desk widths and placement of the desks in the grouping (see chart opposite page). Cable lengths are not field adjustable. Step 4 A qualified electrician will connect the building power supply to the power feed(s), and may connect the power tracks together. Example: Back-to-back placement of six 30 x 72 All-in-One Dual desks with Electric Flat Screen Lifts (page 9) for 12 users. Each user (station) has one cpu and one flat screen. Total power required is 48 amps. For example, a 44 long cable is used to connect power tracks installed in two 60 wide single desks placed side-by-side. 3) When the next adjacent desk is placed back-to-back rather than side-to-side, order a power track with a 32 cable for the next adjacent desk. This will provide enough cable length to make the turn.
