1 Important Computer Abbreviations for IBPS Clerk & PO Computer Basics for IBPS bank exams This is the scoring part of the IBPS bank exams like Clerk, PO, SO, RBI, SBI, and others. Computer Abbreviation is the important subject for the IBPS bank exam. This section in bank exam is new and important due to increasing number of uses of computers and the internet in all banks. 3 An input device is a peripheral ( computer hardware ) device used to provide data and control signals to a computer.examples of inputs devices are keyboard,mouse,scanners,joystick and others etc. 2. Central Processing Unit Central Processing Unit,basically known as CPU.The control unit(cu),arithmetic Logical Unit (ALU) and memory are collectively called CPU.There are three components of CPU are 3. Control Unit It helps to control and manages the hardware parts.it reads the instructions given by the user to the computer. 4. Arithmetic Logical Unit ALU works on arithmetic and logic.arithmetic have math's function like addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.logic involves the conditional like true or false. 5. Memory It stores all the data and information in the system's memory for the future use. 6. Output Devices An output device is a hardware item used to communicate the results to the computer screen which converts the electronically generated information into an understandable form.
